What's to avoid? All you have to do is register. This is no draft and it is highly unlikely that there will be one in the next 10 years. It's the last thing the Democrats want. So register, do your duty and let someone else do the bleeding for you.

They haven't even suggested a draft so what to avoid spend your time doing sometime useful. By the way how do you plan on avoid the draft remember today you need a passport to get out of country are you going to swim somewhere, Being a Veteran of Desert Storm in that case I hope you sink. If not your a wimp serve your country IF THERE IS A DRAFT I'm not asking you to volunteer, But don't whine before sometime even happen

Hey Slick Willey, I thought that Jimmy Carter already
gave you a pardon for dodging the draft.

There is no draft but you must register, if a draft were to
occur there would be a lottery system based on your
birth date.

It is really nice to see a draft dodging SOB that is looking
for ways to get out, you should be hung by the neck
I'd say balls but apparently you don't have any

Um, the military don't have a draft anymore, all people currently in the military are there because they volunteered.

what draft?! there isn't one to avoid, so why bother?

now, if you choose to not register for Selective Service( easily done online or the post office.. takes three minutes, tops).. you jsut denied yourself access to a whole bunch of Federal programs. like student loans.

back during the vietnam days, when we had a draft, the best way to avoid going to vietnam was, join the national guard. the national guard was never sent overseas, like they are today. ( a few units went to vietnam, less than 1% of units).

you can claim to have anal cysts, like Rush

you can have other priorities , like cheney

you can claim to have bad eyesight like reagan during WW2,( strange thing, i never saw him wearing glasses, and contact lenses didnt become available until the early 1970's)

you can crap in your pants and wear the same clothes for a week , like ted nugent.

just research all of the ways the republican chicken hawks of today did back years ago, the ones of vietnam age. it is a virtual cornucopia of ideas of how to avoid the draft.

or you could become a Rhodes Scholor, like Clinton. but to do this, you will have to be in the top .001% of all students.
