Absolutely, that day and every day. I'm also taking my Girl Scout Troop to the local cemetery to place flags for our hometown veterans. We send cookies and notes to troops overseas too. I think we should do what we can to make their day a little brighter :-)

As a proud American, I can say that I pray for them everyday and I have them on my mind everyday. Not a days goes by without praying or thinking about them. But of course Memorial Day I will pray for them a little harder and little longer. I know since I am thinking about joining the Military I know I would want some one to pray for me when and if I do join and get deployed. God Bless America and her troops!!!!!!!!

I feel the same as "landwish"
I dont think religion should be a part of war at all.
however the troops, my friends and family are in my always thoughts, and they have my best wishes.

I'm gonna pray for the innocent...
the people who get run over by the military machines of all these corrupted governments... the little kids who grow up in war zones, and play in rubble... because some people are too stupid to know when their government is deceiving them.

I know George Bush's family is praying in their mansions.... praying that American Soldiers don't realize that Bush and his family would never be sent to a war zone...(they can watch it safely from their flat screen tv in Texas)
