i am planning to sign up very soon, i am a reserve and i have my job as rifleman guaranteed to me before i sign.

I've usually see em in the movies and stuff like that. Little long tubes like hand held flares which upon breaking or twisting emits faint green light sort of like the radium stickers and stuff like that and are these available in military surplus stores?

I hear everyone saying it is possible. Not in the Navy when you work 12 hours a day. I am not lazy or anything it is just impossible man. Besides, even if I could take some courses it will take like 20 years to get an associates degree. Accelerate your life....

My bestfriend wants to join the MARINES and asked me what i thought about it. I dont know i mean is it rewarding? is it a good career? Do you think it would make him happy? Are or where you happy?
