Your question, if we can even call it a question, has several problems.
1) By "whipping", you are suggesting that we are losing battles and engagements. We are NOT losing. We encircle and destroy insurgents whenever we catch them.
You are lured into the defeatist mindset because we only report our own casualties, NOT the casualties our forces inflicted. It is a policy the military adopted since the Vietnam war, because it is NOT useful in measuring success. And it only encourages inflated figures and "ear counting".
2) "dance on [our] heads" -- the insurgents are TERRORISTS using TERROR tactics of random bombings and attacks to destroy law enforcement apparatus and intimidate the civilian population (and rival factions). You don't fight that with a regular army. We're basically using our army as heavily armed police.
In many ways, the insurgents are VERY much like the Vietcong. There are TWO SUCCESSFUL WAYS to fight the VC, both are tried in the Vietnam war:
a) train the locals to fight them, like the way we trained the Montagnards. That program was actually VERY successful. It was ruined because MACV tried to use the local militia as if it's a regular ARVN unit, and those militia don't leave their homes. We are doing that right now by training up the Iraqi army and police. And it is working to some extent.
b) You can go after their leaders... directly. In Vietnam, this was known as the Phoenix Program... We send in SEAL teams and other trained operatives and we take out the VC infrastructure by kidnapping / killing high-ranking members. We don't have the intelligence support we had in Vietnam to replicate the tactic in Iraq, and the Congress would have a field day if we try to implement something like that nowadays. :P
Your question cannot be answered, as it's really a statement, and that statement isn't even true.

First off, the US is the most powerful nation on earth bar nun. Secondly it's because the insurgents dont have any problem finding the troops, but not so the other way around. Also the military has other jobs than just taking out insurgents

Because we are a force of more than one.
Most insurgents can blend in and have no shame or fear of dying.
We are obvious and stand out. They blend in with cover. We have a full agenda, besides not to die.
They have one agenda. kill everything against them.
But we whip more tail than is told. It just doesn't sound good or sell papers if we say, Forces killed another 200 insurgents today.. because there is no one here supplying insurgents to iraq, that is going to get emotional about it.
We are supplying soldiers to fight. So we care about the soldiers. And insurgent death here does not sell as well.
And then there is the political movement trying to capitalize.. which is sick,...
Lets face it, if your an insurgent, your chances of death are about 99% at some point.
Because your there to kill and be killed.
If your a soldier, your chances are 50% you may die, because your there for peace. not death.
And were not there to kill them.

Im not really sure the number of dead insurgents vs the number of dead or injured US military can back up the claim that they are whipping us. But I understand what youre saying..with there training vs our training we shouldnt sustain as many casualties as we have..they have home court advantage they know the best places to set up ambushes and can easily blend in and gather information in their own country.

They haven't defeated the USA. The US military has one every battle. The enemy uses land mines and suicide bombers to attack us. But like a Kamikazes in World War 2 it is a mark of failure not success.

They don't. Tell me genius just how do you stop a maniac bent on murder/suicide 100% of the time? Or cowards who plant bombs in the dark of the night and detonate them from afar when you drive by? "Next to China" Where in your little naive world do you get we are second to China? By the way I believe you aren't even from the US. Just another naysaying piece of drek.
