Opposition to the foreign forces is increasing in Iraq every hour.Correct or wrong the country has been invaded and torn to pieces.A Government has been elected and a begining for democracy made.It would save a lot of lives if the occupying forces leaves. After all there are other pressing issues in their own respective countries. The money can be better spent to eradicate poverty in the needy countries

I am afraid they are using the "Working out to the Oldies" DVD's to train their agents. How can I stop this insidious plot? Will they stop at nothing?

We should support the war, because: John McCain supports the war......

think about... this guy was tortured for 5+ years as a POW in Vietnam... he has seen what war does, lost friends, seen the death it causes. he´s experienced it first had...

he should be the very last person in america that to support war. UNLESS... he knows how important it is for this country to stop terrorism.... not to give in to these radical muslims...

As a Mother of a US Officer & Ranger, it comes right to my mind that she is a media seeking nutcase thanks to all the special interest groups she has allowed to shape her thoughts & actions. She has camped out for weeks with media across from his home when his family was there. By now Elizabeth Edwards would have had her thrown in jail & the ket thrown away. She would be "afaid. very afraid". She is afraid of neighbors who lived there for years.

Sheehan says she wants an explanation - well, many about about it the right way & received condolences. The explanation is war stinks & soldiers die. If her son did not understand that, then the acorn does not fall far from the tree. Every soldier is told & knows the odds of deployment 98% & death .36% notice the point in front - less than 1/3 of 1 percent.
She wanted her son to be the exception to death & the president can't & shouldn't have to explain why he was not.

I seem to remember the names of the countries were carved into the wall but that the lettering was gold. I can't for the life of me figure out where I saw it so any help would be very gratefully received.

Seriously... Get our boys out, drop in the big sha-bang, or 50, or 500, and BAM, war in Iraq is over. We go home, international community moans and whines, and maybe we get into an actual war where someone actually has a shot at the homeland. We win that war with the help of another "Coalition of the Willing", and BAM, America's back on top ready to impeach another president for BJs.... just like the good ol' days...

of you voted for Bush in the last election, even though we were already losing the war in Iraq. Bush wants to send in 20,000 more troops which will put us where we were last year, and that didn't help. We need alot more if we are going to stay the course, so to speak. So why don't you people put your body where your vote is and go to Iraq and accomplish the mission?

our occupation of Iraq is keeping us safe from terrorists? It appears that they can take any target of their choosing and that they have the forces to do it as well.

When all the money spends on armaments will be better used to develope or encourage those nations ,which the oppressors will prefer to devastate with bombs.
Would,nt it be better if UN should stop usage of weapon of any sought ,advise that weapons should be disposed and LOVE shared ,instead of tears of War .

Iraq has become destabilized. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are now refuges. The Sunni counter-balance to Iran has been removed, allowing Iran to become stronger than ever. Skilled professionals who have money are fleeing the country in droves. Is anyone still seriously arguing that Iraqis prefer "freedom" to stability? I realize that there are whole swaths of the country that are (relatively) stable, but since most of the population lives in areas that aren't, isn't it safe to say that the vast majority of Iraqis are now worse off than before the invasion?
