241 Marines died and the Marines who survived ran away and begged to go home. ( Now we call it "Cut and run" ) Why did the United States run and and told the Marines never to look back?

So a peaceful industrial nation that only wishes to live in peace (check the records they only fought in defense) is always put to blame, why? Because they kill every enemy that threatens their friends and family? Why does no one realize that the UN gave them that land not the United States? We support them because they only wage war as a defensive maneuver.

I understand that we want our troops home but if we left now what good would the past 5 years have done? If we pull out now the country would be in worse shape than when we started. Yeah I agree we probably shouldn't have gone to war in the first place but we can't change that now. Now we must look to resolve the situation. I understand we all want our loved ones to come home but the only way to do this is to send more troops to Iraq. A greater number of troops will ensure that we will see them sooner. This is a big issue especially with the upcoming 2008 presedential election which is why I ask you to vote Mccain. McCain will need all the help he can get as he plans on sending more troops to Iraq. While most candidates have plan for defeat McCain offers a successful plan for Iraq which allows for victory and the return of our troops in a quick way. Please share your reasons for wanting to leave Iraq and how that will solve any problems.

Every time I read a stupid, evil and/or irrelevant sentiment regarding one of my questions..I look at the profile of the writer and they never allow email or IM contact.

Any of the you normal people know why this is?

I'd ask them but I am doomed to get to the same ignorant deadend...a lousy answer with no chance to comment.

After all Bush was advised by all advisors that Iraq was not the threat Bush made it out to be.
He would not wait for UN inspectors to even finish their work, what was the rush!

I look at the responses on this site and I am completely disheartened. The boys in this country are taught (in liberal schools) to run away from the call to duty. The enrollment rate of young men in college is at an all time low. The district attorney is overwhelmed by fathers who abandon their responsibility. What is happening and WHO could possibley believe that the United States is not going to be destroyed from within?

This is a question about our MEN. I am fully aware that our girls have their own set of issues.

I tried to talk to you and help you, so you could see where your problems are.

But you have only insulted me, AND you don't respect non violence.

You prefer violence because it is your "strong suite", having spent billions on the ability to wage war and kill people on a massive scale, you are not going to abandon it now for a peaceful plan.

I tried to help you, but you only insult me.

You know what, most people in other countries want you to fail in Iraq, they don't feel bad when you get killed by insurgents AT ALL,

But you are stupid enough to insult the foreigners that want a non-violent way out for you.

Shame on you, you don't know how to treat your allies

YOU owe me an apology.

Except for maybe 2 or 3 congressmen or senators, non of the Republican leaders who are all for the Iraq war send their kids to Iraq.

I can understand why democrats wont want to, because they oppose the war, but should'nt the Republicans set an example for America by sending their kids to Iraq in large numbers if they really believe in their cause?

Alright, so here's the story:

My friend and I were talking about World War two planes during lunch. He is from
england, so naturally, he thought that the SPITFIRE supreme or whatever it was called was the best. I personally thought that U.S. had a better plane: the P-51 Mustang. It could be armed with 6 heavy machine guns or 4 20-mm cannons. It could match any plane in terms of range, agility, etc. In fact, it could even outperform almost any plane in World War II. It was flown by some of America's best aces. Every pilot who flew it fell in love with its streamlined sleekness, amazing speed, powerful armaments, superb range, unmatchable maneuverability, and everything else.

But my friend says that the spifire supreme can beat the mustang anyday, anywhere...

Can someone help me prove him wrong, or give why the mustang is better or why the spitfire is better?

Thnx.

It will be a Bachelors degree in Libral Arts with a major in the Management of Criminal Justice Operations. What types of positions do you think I may qualify for?
I would love to hear about the process just so I know what I am getting into. How long of a process is this also.

Dictators sometimes like to have an elite unit which they can use as their own personal military or paramilitary force, such as Saddam's Republican Guard.

Nazi Germany had several military and paramilitary forces, as well as several police agencies. Which of them served to do Hitler's bidding when he wanted something done while bypassing the Reichstag?

Does Fidel Castro maintain a personal armed force? Did Idi Amin? Does Robert Mugabe? Did Benito Mussolini? Francisco Franco? Peron?

I am an Intel Specialist in the Navy. I hate to tell you bone heads this but, since the war has started 80% percent of the violence has been in Baghdad, Iraq.

The surge has wiped out hundreds of bad guys in the capital. For the first time in years Baghdad held a Fair-like parade a couple of weeks ago.(See Washington Times for pictures)

The Gov. of Iraq wants us there. Point Blank!

The majority of the weapons that kill U.S. troops come from Nancy Peloci's Syrian friends and Hillary Clintons Iranian friends.(a little bit of sarcasm there)

Last year we had 843 U.S. fatalities in Iraq that resulted from hostile action. We had more murders and crime than that in two American cities if you add Philadelphia's crime rate and Detroit's crime rate. BOTH CITIES ARE RAN BY DEMOCRATS. DO YOU SEE REPUBLICANS TRYING TO DEFUND DETROIT? Imagine what would have if we defunded Detroint and stop giving the federal benefits. (Liberals dont take that statement to heart, just making an outstanding example)

The surge is working so well the Democrats scrambled to defund the war immediatly and then went on vacation.

Folks if you dont believe nothing I say believe this, The Democrats can't afford politically for us to win in Iraq. For the sake of their party they want us to lose.
