So a peaceful industrial nation that only wishes to live in peace (check the records they only fought in defense) is always put to blame, why? Because they kill every enemy that threatens their friends and family? Why does no one realize that the UN gave them that land not the United States? We support them because they only wage war as a defensive maneuver.

That is too big and too intelligent of a question to answer in this simple forum.

Bottom line is this - there will always be war in the Middle East, at least until the end of days. I has been happening for centuries. Someone will be seen as the oppressor, or just simply having different beliefs. It is as much economics as it is religion.

The Nation of Israel was born out of a long winded attempt to create peace in the region of Palestine and to provide a home nation for the Jewish people. The whole process over half a century was an attempt to prevent future wars. How ironic!

History shows that the strong will always seek out and conquer the weak. Israel was a conquest. The weak are pissed off about it and think they deserve the land. That's the bottom line.

I am not anti-Israeli, but a reason may be that a good portion of the wars in the Middle East are based on religion, and as Israel being the only Jewish dominant country there (I believe) the Middle Eastern Crusade type thing ends up involving them. Also after Israel was invaded by everyone and ended up winning more land then it started with, the loosing countries want their land back. So when the crusade calms down, it is about land that Israel "does not rightfully deserve". On addition to that, Israel shows a liking to Beirut that Lebanese and PLO do not appreciate, causing another war.

The very last war Israel fought was not in defense. Destroying a country (Lebanon) to retrieve some soldiers (who were never retrieved) is not a war in self defense - it is the blatant use of any pretext for a war against one of Israel's more powerful neighbours who had been annoying them recently. A pre-emptive strike is not self defense.

The UN wouldn't have had the land had the British not had such trouble holding onto Palestine - the UN has no rights to seize land. In addition, Israel has consistently grabbed more land from its neighbours since this land was mandated - and Israel continues to build settlements in Palestinian land; which is against international law.

Israel not only kills their enemies but also completely innocent women, children, journalists and members of international agencies. Pretty much everyone who criticises them really. One example was a British journalist who was shot by an Israeli soldier as he made a documentary on Palestinian children. The soldier was never punished.

Israel receives a hard time from its neighbours. But Israel also treats the Palestinians like animals, and uses a FAR too heavy hand in almost every situation.

Because it is the one to blame for most of them...Israel is so far from being a "peaceful industrial nation "...
UN didn't gave them the land Israel is on right now,UN gave them a part of that land and they ,by attacking in 1967 the countries surrounding them, occupied the rest of that land, occupation that was declared illegal...
What does every enemy means?Militants, innocent civilians and children who throw stones at tanks?Because Israel kills kills them without discrimination and I still wonder how exactly could a stone destroy a tank...

Muslims have a long standing hate for anything that looks Jewish. It stems from the two brothers. One was from a slave women Ishmael and the other from his wife Sarah.
The slave women raised her son to hate anything that came from Isaac. Like Christmas being passed down from one generation to the next this hate was passed down and caused wars and fighting for many years until today.
They hate so much they would die to kill a jew. That is hate.
So will there ever be peace between them. No!
Would Ishmael or Isaac would have wanted that hate to destroy their children for all future generations?
I think they would be horrified if they knew what that hate has done for all these years.
Most of it is fanned by clerics who use it to control the people.
Read those people with answers above you can feel the bitterness and hate. But think about this?
Was Isreal involved in the 9/11 attack?
Was Isreal involved in the Sunni & Shiite war?
Was Isreal involved when Iraq was in war with Iran for 8 years?
Was Isreal involved when Afganistan was at war with Russia?
In Africa and the islamic forces are doing genocide in the worst mass slaughter the world has ever seen is Isreal involved? Makes me wonder who the bad guy is?

First of all, Israel has not always fought for self defense. Any objective look at the Palestinian-Israeli conflict will show you that this is clearly not the case. Israel has the right to exist, SO DOES PALESTINE. Israel should NOT continue to occupy lands that they do NOT own and brutally oppress people who are NOT a threat to them.

It is sad that our media tries to make Israel out to be a "victim", when it fact more often than not they are the perpetrators. I am not saying terrorism against Israel is justified, but in no way is the Israeli occupation of Gaza and the West bank justified either.

There is plenty of wrongdoing on both sides of this conflict. It is intellectually dishonest to think otherwise.

Ahem.

Did you realize that 55% of Israeli exports is armaments and war materiel?

Did you realize that the UN did not have title to the land it 'gave' to Israel?

Face it, this is a failed experiment. Let's relocate the Jewish state to Baja California (purchased from Mexico for cheap) and set up Disneyfied dioramas for the holy sites. We need them somewhere a little more isolated, and they should be grateful for the second chance at becoming a nation-state since they so thoroughly screwed up the first try.

Because Israel is the cause of Palestinians misery, cause of death for several American soldiers who are losing their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan, already over 4000 young American men and women have died and many other are to die.

Over $700 billion has been spent by America and no America citizen can travel outside of America in peace.

Israelis have occupied Arabs lands and have killed thousands of their innocent civilians and now America is paying for.

It is because of stupidity in the American administration.

Israel was created by the U.N. A large number of Jews lived in Jerusalem, a very large number. The entire area, including the arab countries, were colonized. The Jews were given Israel, and the Arabs were given the massive lands of such countries as saudi arabia, jordan, syria... Unlike the arabs, who forced the Jews out of their lands, the Jews allowed the arabs to stay in Israel. Want to know why the arabs fled? They were waiting for the arab armies to crush Israel, so they could go to an empty land. Israel was legally created, and was an acknowledgment of the millions of Jews who lived in it. How about the 1 million Jews who were thrown out of Arab countries and beaten? Who speaks for them?
