Yep, it's that easy. The first thing you do when you take a town over in a war is to go in and take out all of the household chemicals that could be used to make weapons.

Chemical weapons are very easy to make with all kinds of household, or easily obtainable items.

Usually the problem is that you want to affect a large number of people to have any real impact. The hard part is making enough, or delivering the weapon so it will reach a large number of people before it can be discovered and stopped.

Fact is, you can make poison gas with five dollars worth of burritos and a few hours of time.

The question is, can people who want to make poison gas wake up long enough to honor a God who loves them, even when they are so insane that they think God wants them to smother some of His beautiful creations in a cloud of poisonous gas....

VERY SIMPLE... the "difficult" part is making the delivery-system !

Others here have pointed out the simple Chlorine bombs that the insurgents are using weekly... and Nerve gas is basically BUG SPRAY !!

Any country / group with access to a industrial-chemical lab can do it... of course, here in the USA, it's probably illegal to even create the material...

Way to easy. For example if you mix 1 part bleach with 1 part ammonia it makes a deadly gas. That's why airlines wont let any fluids on planes. stupid terrorists!!

Usually. Bleach and concentrated ammonia mixed release chorine gas if I remember what caused a fatal home cleaning accident in my home town years ago. Most stuff around us is at least mildly toxic
