Seriously... Get our boys out, drop in the big sha-bang, or 50, or 500, and BAM, war in Iraq is over. We go home, international community moans and whines, and maybe we get into an actual war where someone actually has a shot at the homeland. We win that war with the help of another "Coalition of the Willing", and BAM, America's back on top ready to impeach another president for BJs.... just like the good ol' days...

I wonder if the radiation would effect the oil.

But seriously, dumb idea. No one wants to use nukes...okay let me rephrase, no stable country wants to use nukes. If the United States were to just go drop a nuke on Iraq, the rest of the NATO counties would be livid. Way too many innocent civilians would be killed. I'm not all caught up on American History, but didn't the last nuke you guys dropped cause a huge uproar?

The spread of radiation would effect the rest of the middle eastern countries, too...do we really want to give countries like Iran more incentive to build and use nukes? Not to mention, I'm sure there are several countries with a nuclear program waiting for the perfect reason to launch a few.

Besides, too many people are making money off of the war being done the way it is.

Let me guess... you're probably one of the people who also believe tht if we don't win in Iraq that America will suddenly start getting attacked by Alqaeda as well right?

I'm not going to waste too much time on this so I'll keep it as simple as possible. If we drop a nuke on Iraq, The radioactive fall out from the nuke will spread to neighboring countries, including our allies. This will crash the U.S. economy and radiation poisoning will also likely spread into China. Killing thousands of Chinese, which, will likely cause China to retaliate with their own nuclear strike on us. So like the Bush policy, you can't see the forest for the trees. Where as you will have saved the lives of a thousand or so U.S. troops in Iraq you will ultimately kill millions of people including Americans. ;-)

Geesh!

You know what I was asking myself the same thing. I would agree but then again not agree on dropping a nuke bomb. Why kill innocent people over some stupid war. Then again I say just what you say, get our guys out and get this war over with. My brother is on just second tour over there and I think that its bullshit that were over there. We have no reason to be over there, Iraq doesn't want us over there, but Bush is a piece of **** and doesn't care about anybody but himself.

It will kill a bunch of innocent civilians. Radiation will cause ecological disaster in all Middle East. It will result in rapid decline of oil production, and you will pay 30 bucks per gallon! Still wanna throw nukes around? Probably not. So you better shut the hell up!

I wonder why we are still there. We are no longer fighting to free those mindless dorks of a government that stopped them from killing each other. We don't need to drop a bomb, they are so stupid we should just pull back and watch as they kill each other. At that point we install Saddam's nephew as president and the nation will be peaceful again.

Iraq is not the enemy. remember, we went there to destroy Saddam's WMD (no, that was revised), to fight terrorism (no that's not it either) to depose Saddam and liberate the Iraqi people (I think that's the latest propaganda). Although I like your thinking, when the lines get too blurred to understand what the heck the original agenda was just blow the crap out of it. We could use the same logic for New Orleans.

By nuking these areas, we would contaminate the entire area and turn it into a hot zone. The fallout would most likely descend on Iran causing Iran to launch either atomic or nuclear attacks on us in the area or on the mainland.

Because...
1. what if we don't get ALL of our boys out?
2. we will be killing millions of innocent people
3. If we nuke chances are they (or thier allies) will nuke us back
It's not worth it because no matter what people that have nothing to do with this will die for no reason other than we were "sick of waiting"

For the ones here who's saying it's dumb, look what we did during WW2. British and American planes dropped fire bombs on tokyo japan killed 100,000 people. Of course back then we didn't have precision bombing. I guess people's attitudes about war were different back then.
