This is very easy to understand because they want to have a reason to set up permanent bases there. This can be backed up by Pentagon documents. Who benefits from this- big oil and arms builders.

I want to be an officer once i get out of college. I am majoring in history and want to eventually get my phd and work in the history field after i retire from my military career. What would be a good minor for this? I am confused air force has a historian rank. But I want to be more active in the service not a desk job. I have my whole life for that. If I joined the army it would be the 101st because they are close to my home and they are my neighbors. In the navy I would do something like intelligence. What should I do?

I am 17, graduated early and I got a 71 on my ASVAB... and I really am looking for a life alternating experience. I need college education so all military branches will do something for that.... but I want to serve my country. I have no problem with living a rough life and being yelled at... but I want to be used to my full potential. I want to make it to the top some day and be someone I am proud of. I am super interested in being an Air Traffic Controller. I want to know which and why. I know the basic things that people say is that the Air Force is better, Navy second, Army and Marines are for the driven... Army is for anyone who can pick up a pencil blablablabla I need to know what fits me... I am outgoing and not afraid of dirt... which one will get me where I want to go faster? I want real answers from experience!!!!!

I am planning on enlisting in the Army Active duty this summer, I am a very adventurous person, dont mind being away from home, or being deployed... so the Army active duty for 20 or more years isnt to big of a deal for me... What MOS is a good one to pick to have fun and enjoy it for 20 + years... What one did you have? What one do you suggest? What one do you not suggest... Im enlisting too... not officer...

As a nation at war, we are having problems filling the ranks of our armed forces, especially the Army and the Marine Corps. Is the all volunteer force the way to go, or should there be a mandated service for everyone? Not just military, but some kind of public service(Peace Corps, Firefighting, etc.,)

I don't know how most gays make it through boot. I mean the showers and standing close together but those that manage to slip through should be kicked out immediatley. they are defective and as defects they should be kicked out ASAP.

I've known guys who had homos in their platoons in bootcamp and they beat them so bad they left. aint nothin wrong with that.


And why would they want to join? I mean we all say f.a.g like many times a day. don't they hate that? its a hyper masculine atmosphere wouldn't they rather be at a gay bar or something.

Ok this is my last question. If I join the marines and get comftrable with the military and finally find out want i wanna do will i be able to say go from the marines and then join the SEALs if i make it. How would that work if i decide i want somthing else?
