Being former military, I'd laugh at you, as I kicked your lilly butt if you pulled the crap these doofs are telling you. But, maybe that's why I'm a security officer, and not a security guard. I ain't Barney Fife. Donuts! Ha! You guys are funny! The execs, here, keep us up in the best catered food imaginable. Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme are a waste of your time and money. I think a few people need to get a job, and stop watching tv.
Honestly? If you were on my property, I wouldn't chase you, anyway. All I need to do is set the cameras for motion, and to auto track, with zoom. With 24 cameras per floor, I'd have your face and other identifying features, like voice and what not, in around 3 minutes; and, in about 15 minutes, so would the local police department. There are 4 facilities which record the information on this particular security system, so good luck tracking them all down. My job is to observe and report. Nothing more. Nothing less. Do anything out of the ordinary, and I have you. Plain and simple.

I can't believe all the stupid violent comments on here..."oh yeah I'd kick him in the nads and then gouge his eyes out" - buncha 15-year-olds who don't understand that acting out what you post would get you jail time and probably a lawsuit. Grow up. Security guards have a job to do like anyone else. You don't have to worry about them if you aren't causing problems or doing something illegal.

Run. Security guards have little to no authority. Though, If you try a phycial confrontation with them, then you offered them a wide array of options against you, since you now become a threat.
