Generally, most people consider Iran a threat to many in that it seems to be pursuing nuclear ambitions, and also more proved its true color by capturing the British military folks.
Its president is a wingnut, its people are brainwashed, and lastly, the grand daddy Khemenni is authorizing money and hardware to be provided to insurgence in Iraq.
Why should we not engage them? The EU is already to a boil point, Israel has been at a boil point...is this the war we should have been fighting instead of Iraq?

The iraqies aren't even happy that we're helping them. What do they do in return for our protection throwing rocks at us. I say we pull out our troop and let them slove their problem themself if they think we're big bad americans. If you have a good reson why our troop should stay in that oven please feel free to make ur statement.

Have you ever noticed that it seems ok for the BRITS to bad mouth the U.S. and/or our military, but when you get in THEIR FACE for it, they go running to MOMMY YAHOO and you get YOUR comment deleted? They (BRITS) can dish it out, but typically, they can't take it. Should I be surprised?

Rep. Patrick Murphy, an American hero who actually served in Iraq for years, has stated that we have no clear mission in Iraq and that we are caught up in someone else's civil war. Why do lobotimized conservative drones, who continuously fetishize the value of opinions of "boots on the ground" utterly disregard them when they differ with the deserter in chief?

USA seems to think they won the cold war.
But are there winners of wars, perhaps only losers.
Empire-ism is as old, and unstable as Roman Empire.
Empires come and go, go into oblivion in history books.

This scenario assumes UK & France kicked Hitler out of Rhineland when he broke treaty that ended WWI, thus stopping rebuilding of German military. As a result, Germany dissolves into civil war between communists and Nazis, with ordinary Germans in the middle. Russia supplies Communists, UK & France the Nazis. Tension builds, war declared. Who wins? why? What of Spain and Italy?

Female pilots serve proudly, and with distinction, in the United States Armed Forces. I understand that many are assigned to fly helicopters, and transport aircraft. Tonight I watched a television doctumentary that included interviews with several female pilots that flew the A-10 (Warthog) assault aircraft. What other "combat" aircraft do female pilots fly?

Ken (AKA Ned Flanders) and I became friends in the Falklands in that year, and for various reasons I was unable to keep in touch. He was from the NorthEast (I think), and was fluent in Russian and some other languages. I would like to contact him, update one another on events. THanks in anticipation.

why is it so easy to send someone else's son to die? why do people think war is a sporting contest or video game? why are those who say "bomb 'em to bits" or "lets invade" the same ones who never been there? the ones who never held their best friend by the hand and tell him everything will be okay, while you try to hold his guts in with the other other? why do think watching the history channel qualifies them to send those of us who serve into harms way?
