Ken (AKA Ned Flanders) and I became friends in the Falklands in that year, and for various reasons I was unable to keep in touch. He was from the NorthEast (I think), and was fluent in Russian and some other languages. I would like to contact him, update one another on events. THanks in anticipation.

Is he still active? Did he retire? You can try a National People Search online.
