There's been a lot of tough talk coming from our president lately. I think by fall of this year. Probably just airstrikes though and not a full scale ground invasion. But if there is some kind of ground force involved it'll probably be along the Iraq / Iran border. What do you think?

If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq
theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112
deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 10,000 soldiers.

The firearm death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 10,000 for the same
period.

That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in
theU.S. Capitol, which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the
nation, than you are in Iraq.

Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington immediately.

But yesterday my recruiter called me saying that MEPS called him stating that when they did my background check, I have a warrant from 10 years ago, for some community service I did not finish from a Theft Under $300(stole a few cd's). My recruiter is saying they are doing everything possible to work this out.I am afraid that I will be discharged or kicked out. If this is the case..could I still be elegible to join the US Army??
