Two units of the Royal Marines. The Special Boat Section and the Mountain Warfare Cadre. Don't forget that it was British special forces that trained the Green Berets in the first place.

Delta Force in the Army. Marine Spec Forces are good, the Navy Seals takes recruits from all Job classes, yes even cooks as long as they past BUDS. The Delta Force in the are a bit particular, they invite who they want to apply, but mainly you start in the infantry, then get to Ranger then Green Beret then Delta Force

Green Berets, on top of equivalent training to the SEALs, they HAVE to be language qualified for the areas they operate in. Other than the language thing, SEALs and Green Berets are about equal. The Marines lag behind slightly, and then behind them are Air Force Special Operations.

I think it is between delta force and the seals, if you are talking about a fight far from water then delta force, but if it is near water or a port the seals all the way. they both have there specialties

One thing that hasn't been mentioned are the CIA "Wet Teams"
They are manned by the cream of the crop from out of Delta, Seals, and Green Berets.
Not to mention they have greater resources and freedom to operate.
In case you were wondering, they are called "Wet" teams because when they operate things always end up bloody. Don't know about you but im damn thankful we have them to do the dirty work.

First to dispell the myth, PJ's are not rescueing each and every person in the back of enemy lines. Luttrell had no PJ come and rescue him. 2nd, tension recon replaced into no longer particular operations. They have been particular operations in a position, and so are some billion different instruments. it fairly is apples and oranges in spite of the undeniable fact that. A SEAL team will no longer be able to halo in and communicate to civilian rebels in a distant places u . s . of their community tongue and show them to overthrow their modern government etc. you will no longer see an ODA proficient at sub lock outs and utilising a SDV to get to a aim. you will no longer see the two of them with the uncooked potential and carnage that seventy 5th can carry. They each and every have inheritor very own area of interest.
