Navy Seal...by a long shot
There have been plenty of good marines wash out of BUDS...like the guy already said...at least 70%
One already has to be a Marine or in the Navy before they can even apply to Seal training. But, of course, BUDS is just the first part of becoming a Seal. After BUDS, there are several more weeks of training before you can call yourself a Seal.

A NAVY SEAL...... a Marine is a general group in the military, just like the Army, Navy and Air Force.....once u make it thru the Marine's basic training program and graduate, you are considered a Marine...however, Navy Seals are a very elite unit, therefore the training is much more rigorous and the standards for acceptance into this group are much higher........

Navy Seal... besides SEALs being a special forces unit inside the Navy, becoming a Marine is easier than you think.

SEAL Team Member without a doubt... not to make light of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children.
I was neither... I was US Navy Aircrew (helo & fixed-wing), but dealt with the gentlemen of the Teams often and later had a Div. O who was former a Team member.
There is not a SINGLE Marine within the SEAL Teams... to enter BUD/S you need to be within certain rates of the US Navy... You submit a package, leave the Marine Corps and enlist in the US Navy to attend A-School, and then BUD/S.

Navy Seal, because there are plenty of Marines who would wash out in training. The Seals are fittest of the fit. Just being fit will NOT cut it.

Definitely more difficult to become a Navy SEAL -- the washout rate for SEAL training is better than 70%

Navy Seal.
By comparison, becoming a Marine is a walk in the park.

It is very difficult to become a Navy Seal. They have a show on the Discovery Channel about it. (They make them swim 1 mile in the freezing ocean!)

I read the book by the guy that founded them and I believe most Navy Seals are Marines if you check into it.

A rmine isn't necessarily very hard to be, as long as you are willing to shut up take orders, do lots of PT and dont mind men twice your size yelling in your ear constantly.
The seals is one of the worlds most elite forces and it tripple as hard a being a marine, washout rates for marines is relitavely low but the seals is 70%.
