That information is not tracked, and even if it was, would be priviledged information and you would not be authorized to see it. We take PERSEC very seriously, and will not release the names of those in harm's way for fear of their friends and loved ones being targeted for scams or other hateful practices.

You're not going to find that information. First, it isn't safe for our soldiers' names to be posted online. Second, the number of people deployed is so huge and changes every day - it would be impossible to keep something like that up-to-date.

Honestly, if you're not on the servicemember's emergency contact information, you probably won't be able to get the information at all. The military won't release that information to just anybody, and for good reason. If you know the unit they are/were in, try contacting them to find out if the person is still assigned to that unit. I wouldn't be surprised if they won't tell you though. You could also try getting in touch with either their parents or spouse, or someone else who might know where they are.

You can go to Military.com and there is alot of sites on there that can help.
I am a Military Mom and my son has just recently went to Korea, so I know the intense feeling of not knowing.
My son is out in the field now.I have not spoke to my son since he left for Korea so I can say I know how you feel.

no offence but one its against the law to give out that sort off information and secoundly how do we know youre not planing a terroists hit against soldiers when they get back.
if you want to right them then contact the armed forces office and they be able to help with pen pals. but they wont give you classified information like that in todays climate

I agree its a security issue. There are many troops however who do post their units online. I have no idea why they do, it is not very secret at all.

You're not going to find it.

The U.S. Gov't doesn't release information like that.
