Do you think that the war would have started if our leaders were less greedy?

Okay, from how I see it: If you want to help your career or get into politics, the air force would be best. If you want to make the military your career, then marines are best. If you are adventurous, navy would be best. If you want good pay and a college education, you could join army. Which should I pick? I don't want to make the military my carrer, so probably not marines. I might enjoy traveling, so navy would be ok for awhile, but then i would get homesick...army and airforce are good too. Explain all the pros and cons, and list the benefits with your answer please!

It's been reported numerous times that the troops sent to Iraq are sent without the proper equipment like body armour and properly armoured vehicles so our casualties are higher than they should be and now there are accounts that when the wounded come home to Walter Reed the conditions are pretty poor for many of them. Also Bush and the Republicans are always trying to reduce funds for the Veterans Administration. It seems like they pay a lot of lip service to the military but when it comes to reality their saving money at the soldiers and verterans expense so they can keep their tax cuts doesn't bother them at all. Do they really support the troops?

International law is unlikely to be a problem either. The bombing attack on Moammar Qaddafi was legally justified, according to the State Department’s legal adviser, as an act of self-defense under Article 51 of the U.N. Charter because of Qaddafi’s terrorist activities. The Iranian mullahs are worse, and are trying to get nuclear weapons besides.

Forget about whether it's right or wrong to be in Iraq and think about it like this:

The US Armed Forces has had help from numerous countries that have already or are now pulling their troops. Some sent as few as 59 troops. A troop is ONE SOLDIER. 50 soldiers from Lithuania, I think.

Anyway, sending in a small force of men to work with the US Armed Forces would be one hell of way to learn details of how we operate making ANY WAR we're in an incredible opportunity for gathering Intelligence to be used against us later. And with the large number of different countries sending in a few troops, if they all banned together and they each knew our weaknesses......

This just crossed my mind and I'm not sure what to think about it so I ask you for your opinion.

I have just watched a news reports on British tanks in Iraq. Why do many tanks appear to have a metal grill attached to many parts of the bodywork? Is this a defense attachment or something to improve the performance of the vehicle? Many thanks for help from anyone!

the military from screwing up my teeth when there is nothing wrong with them in the first place? I know they sometimes say there is something wrong when there isn't just to train new ppl.
I had a friend that this happened to. Everyone knows this.
I think they drilled a cavity in my mouth that didn't exist. Then I feel like they are using me as a guinea pig when I went in for pregnancy.

Today's military is much different than it was 50 years ago. Today it seems like more and more soldiers are being punished for following orders. What are your views on this?

His Energy progam was a farce as well as his idea to "reform" the Medicare Program - that fizzled along with his "revamping" of the Social Security program - and finally his Farce of a War in Iraq - against a country that was not even a threat to this country which has placed more of our troops in harms way with the Iraqi Civil War there!

The Insurgents fight for free. They do not get a paycheck every two weeks. They fight for their honor where as the USA military fight only if they get paid. If the USA Government stopped the military pay the troops would quit fighting. The USA military does not care about honor. The USA military cares only about that pay check. The insurgents "honor" will carry them to victory.
