Seeing as he basically started this, I think its right if we just finish it off with him, and get on with or lives.

He still needs to pay for the wrongs he commited. And it seems Bush isn't focusing on him anymore. That way, once we get Bin Laden, all mission can finally be accomplished.

I find it VERY hard to believe what the three above me are saying.

George Bush spent weeks on TV after Sept 11, 2001 saying how we were going to get bin Laden "dead or alive" and how the US was "gonna smoke him out of his hole". This is the man responsible for the attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon and Bush's three "Cut and Runners" above my answer are saying Ahhhh leave him alone, it no longer matters?? Are the three of you INSANE??

You slam Clinton because HE didnt get bin Laden even though the Republican Congress at the time wouldnt allow him to, you call anyone against the BS war in Iraq "anti American" yet you are willig to just FORGET about Osama bin Laden?

Capturing Bin laden will not stop Muslim extremism from growing. Leaving Iraq will not stop the sectarian violence. It will only become worse, will probably topple the government and hundreds of thousands of civilians will probably get slaughtered in sectarian bloodshed. I don't know about you, but it is not the risk I'm willing to take.

No.

Capturing Bin Laden would be nothing more than a symbolic 'photo-op.'

It would take us back to the 1990s policies of high-visibility but effectively useless military operations that are what produced 9/11.

Let's secure Baghdad, then we can go hunt him down...

The US will never really leave Iraq, we will set up a permanent base there and we will keep a strong presence there to try and stabilize that part of the world...
