the list is really quite large. WWII was a war of innovation. The US experimented with quite a few things.

the things that really won the war wasn't even weapon related: these things were - Disease and non battle injury treatments for malaria and various other diseases, penicillin for infections, field water treatment systems. Sulfa drugs for wounds. improved field surgery techniques. Improved Field rations and field kitchens. transportation such as trucks and aircraft.
