David lost his right leg in a four wheeler accident about four weeks after he returned from a year long tour in Iraq. He has been going to his monthly guard drills but was told today that he no longer could and that they were gonna medical board him out. Will he be able to continue his tuition assistance and REAP benefits? Are there any other benefits he should be intitled to, such as some kind of pension?

Countries are spending huge amount on developing weapons with more and more advanced technology. The countries men are paying taxes out of their hard earned income and a large percentage of it is spending on Arms and Ammunitatios. If the same amount is spent on education, science and technology, human development and environment conservation, then it will be more beneficial for the society of developing and under developed countries. With right education people of different religion and region would understand each other better hence it will spread harmony and peace among them.

I'd like to join either Special forces or Navy Seals. I heard seals has longer and tougher training than Army SF and it offers a shorter contract also. Can anyone tell me why Army SF are better trainined than Navy Seals or if Seals are better trained than ArmySF in general.

Vietnam again? You must realize that even your puppet government will not be able to give you victory, not any more than your puppets in South East Asia did.

So the body count in Iraq has been going up faster and faster. Now we find that Britain is scaling back on their troops. Denmark is pulling out all together and Lithuania is talking of leavening. And bush states this is a good thing?
Higher body count + allies bailing out = we are winning?
I knew bush had lost touch with the country for the most part but does anyone else worry our commander in chief has lost touch with reality?

I especially like the fact they they all trained to become pilots across the street from the NSA. What's additionally amusing is the Bin Laden confession tape. Here we have an actor that looks and acts nothing like Bin Laden. A person who was obviously hired and made the big mistake of wearing jewelry and writing a note with his right hand. Who directed this video tape? George
Bush himself? And who was the actor dressed up trying to look like Bin Laden? Dick Cheney? LMAO...give me a break already!

The USA, beofre the "war on terror" spent about as much on military as the rest of the world combined spent on their thousand or so militaries.

That considered, What SHOULD we spend on military...TWICE as much as the rest of the world combined? Half as much? Are there better things to spend that money on? Will spending more get better results? Are there more strategic ways to achieve our "defense" goals?

Okay, I work in a middle kiosk at the mall with four other guys and we're all pretty routy and crazy most of the time. We are always playing pranks on eachother to pass the time. Sometimes, when a military recruiter comes up to our booth, I give them one of my co-worker's names and numbers and pretend to be him so that the military recruiter ends up calling my friend to give him more information about joining. I know it's immature, but hey... Well, sometimes that particular stunt is pulled on me...but last time a recruiter called me thinking it was me they were talking to, I actually agreed to meet them for more information. My question to you guys (and girls) is, what are some good questions to ask the army recruiter lady that i'm meeting in about an hour? I really am sort of interested in joining. I know it's a cowardly question, but should I ask which jobs are least likely to see combat? What else should I ask? Pay, Food, Training...what about these things should bring up?

I'm joining the Marine Reserve next month and have a question. I know that I will be making money while I'm training. Will that money be deposited into my checking account back home? If so how soon will that begin? Does it start as soon as the first pay period comes around in my training? Or does it not happen until I graduate? What I'm really wondering is, will my girlfriend be able to take that money out and use it to pay bills while I'm away?
