NO...ABSOLUTELY NOT
The Brits are not pulling out, they are reducing troops. Blair is not as strong a leader as Bush, so he is caving in under Liberal Whinning

Tony Blair is taking advantage of the opportunity to leave, or at least reduce it's numbers in Iraq. Great Britain just announced that Prince Harry is about to be sent to Iraq, so I doubt that Great Britain is pulling out it's troops completely!

Tony Blair most assuredly pre arranged this with GWB, so this move is not a bail out, on Great Britain's part! The southern section, where the British patrol, is the least volatile area to patrol, therefore the Iraqi army should have no problem in taking over the British activities.

It is unlikely the US can or will follow suit. The US has a much larger and more volatile responsibility in Iraq. Don't expect the US to announce a troop withdrawal any time soon. And certainly don't expect to see the US pull out of Iraq while GWB is president, in spite of what Obama has to say.

This is probably the sensible way for Tony Blair to do. Remember that he announced last year that he will be stepping down as Prime Minister sometime this year. So, it might be that he is doing preparations so as not to pass the burden of war to the next Prime Minister.

On the other hand, Bush need not worry about the current quagmire in Iraq. When his term ends, he'll simply pass the whole mess for the next President to sort out. Then the failure of the Iraq war can no longer be blamed on him. The new President will own it. A very smart plan indeed.

But for the meantime, more American soldiers will die needlessly...

I ageed to what Bush did in Iraq and that main reason was to tackle terrorist groups and to finish a job Clinton didn't finish and that was to overthrow Saddam Insane. He's retrained the Iraqi army and police forces and resturctured the political landscape the Iraqi people now know what freedom tastes like. I would say the job is almost completed. Yes now is the time to leave let Iraq be ran by Iraqis and go home. The terrorism won't stop esp against the United States but at least it will show a good gesture to the arab nations. Right now the arab world sees the US as a occupier instead of helping yes I say give them their rule back and see what they do with the rest of Saddam's cronies and terrorism groups in Iraq.

Last I heard that wasn't ALL of the British troops that were there. And their area is more stable than where the US is. Now what was your question?

Some idiot in Baghdad blows himself up and kills a dozen people. Should you do the same thing? Some idiot puts nails in his eyebrows. Should you do the same thing?

When Bush starts pulling troops out of Iraq. I want it because it was the right thing to do not just because someone else did it first.

Maybe the rest of Iraq should take a lesson from the Kurdish region. they don't have any fighting there. And they definitly don't see the US as the enemy. And they are prospering!! OBTW Since the start of the conflict. There has not been one US soldier killed in that area. They don't see us as occupiers but liberators.

Sure, we should pull out! That way we can show the rest of the world that all they have to do is hold out for a little while, and the Americans will give up and go home. We will lose even more credibility! The third world only respects force. Don't believe me? Look how they handle any problem they have...go in and kill their opposition. The best thing the U.S. could do is level our opposition, leaving no doubt in any ones' mind who is in control instead of playing "paddy cake" with those idiots.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think all the troops should be pulled out of Iraq and Afghanistan and any other country they might be in! I'm a wife of a solider who is fixing to be going to Afghanistan, I think all this is for nothing. I have to sit back like so many others and raise our 6 month old son by myself and hope my husband returns to me safely and sane. Please support our troops, they are only doing there job.

i really think we should, those people have been fighting with each other since before the United States was ever formed. just let them attempt to destroy themselves. the only time there will ever be peace in the middle east is when Jesus comes back.
