So the body count in Iraq has been going up faster and faster. Now we find that Britain is scaling back on their troops. Denmark is pulling out all together and Lithuania is talking of leavening. And bush states this is a good thing?
Higher body count + allies bailing out = we are winning?
I knew bush had lost touch with the country for the most part but does anyone else worry our commander in chief has lost touch with reality?

Hrmmm...we are adding people while they are leaving. And I have not forgotten the price of freedom my family has paid that price many times in wwII wwI civil war american revolution etc You forget though we were not the aggressor in those wars. Iraq has no way of threatening my freedom and never has. Back to your paranoid delusions plz.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I seem to remember hearing that about public schools.

Read the news again buddy. Brittain will start withdrawing troops depending on if the Iraqi security forces can take over. They are being replaced by Iraqi security forces in a less hostile area of Iraq. We are trying to do the same thing in Baghdad and surrounding areas. Once Iraqi security can take care of themselves, we will leave as well. This has always been part of the mission. Come on dude, where have you been the last couple of years? President Bush already prewarned us that there would be more troops casualties and the road ahead is going to be hard. Why are you surprised?

Actually our allies are leaving because of improvement in the Iraqi security and this is a good thing.
Im so tired of these questions. Instead of coming here asking the same garbage over and over, how bout throw out some suggestions on what we should do? We certainly cant just pull out. That would be a disaster. The reality is troops will pull out when the iraqis can take care of themselves. Bush has not lost touch with that reality.

hahah i'm no longer american yet i had a ball once I found out that Mcain is over 70. Do human beings comprehend that he's extremely previous even for a guy his age to take out return and forth coverage he desires a medical certificates from his well-being care provider in different words he's basically too previous he's using expire every time. sounds like he's putting onto his toddlers via the very few dark hairs left on his head. heavily needs to discover himself a bloody nursing living house to relax in with the oldies and play bingo, its no place for a 70+ guy to be working a rustic that different international places count on. At 70 you could no longer even perform a motor vehicle, can not think of what an previous cranky guy could do working a rustic. Obama is sublime, in all the instances i've got watched him he's often contained his composure while Mcain gets all pissed off and buggered. he's a nut, him and his negativity heavily he's 70 appearing like a kindergartener. If i'd desire to i could vote Obama.

All lose of American life is sad....but the totals for what has been accomplihed are very low....The numbers wont go down Duh!!
The countries pulling out are either accomplishing their distinct missons or really have no impact on things.

Look at these sites and you will see the good stuff that is being accomplished, by our military..It is not all death and destruction as the Liberals and media want you to believe.

Once you see these sites, you may understand what good is comming of things

He hasn't lost touch, he's lost support.

In WWII, the battle of Iwo Jima, the U.S. lost 1,000 troops per hour in the first 2 days of fighting after over 6 months of continuous bombing of the island. Should the U.S. have given up? If so, even more 1,000's of airmen would have died trying to get to and from bombing Tokyo. WWII may have not ended like it did.

The U.S. people supported the president even though the toll of life was very, very high, but it wasn't over till the enemy said it was over.

No, what worries me is people like you! Of course pulling troops out is a good thing, that's what the Democrat's have been whining about, and when it happens from another country you screams this????? Cake and eat it too???? The body count isn't much, barley that of what we lost in 911. Have you people forgotten the price of freedom? Obviously you have. Iwo Jima 7,000 Marine and 30,000 Japanese lost in 30 freakin days dude! The Iraqi people are winning! You have lost touch with reality and no one else!

The British are scaling back because the Iraqis are taking over Basara. How can the Leftist Media/Al Qaida Alliance spin this as a defeat?

Also, the body count CAN ONLY go higher... You think it is goinf to reverse?

BUSH AWOL

Where were you in '72?
Most of us remember...Bush does not... Google...Bush AWOL

It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period
of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973. Despite all the talk about "honor and dignity,"
"Those of us who were in the military wonder how it is that someone who is supposedly serving on active duty...can miss a whole year of service without even explaining where it went,"
said [Senator John Kerry.
(Source)
Bush says he's released all his records...if that's true, then has anyone seen:
Any pages from Bush's flight log
Records from the Flight Inquiry Board convened after Bush was suspended as a pilot
Any evidence of Bush's reclassification into another AFSC after suspension as a pilot
Any photos of George Bush in a military uniform after 1972
Anything at all from any Alabama unit with Bush's name on it
Any copies of form 44a from the Alabama National Guard certifying attendance
Air Force Form 142 (Aviation Service Audit Worksheet)
Anything proving service (not just receipt of pay) by Bush between May 1972 and May 1973?

AWOL----absent for 30 days or less.
DESERTION-----absent for more than 30 days with evidence of no intent to return to duty.
Is he guilty of one or both? You can read the facts here and see clearly that he is.
This is not the story of a search for missing records. We have the pertinent records.
This is not a hunt for credible eyewitnesses and first hand statements. The officers involved have stepped forward. We have their testimony and we have the signed statements of those no longer living.
This is the story of how George Walker Bush walked away from a years duty while in the National Guard. And, this is the story of how he has thus far gotten away with it. He quoted...
“I continued flying with my unit for the next several years”...
That statement is an outright LIE, which means the person making it is a LIAR. Indeed this is George Bush. When, precisely, did Bush or his unit receive the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award? Yet he wore it on his uniform. Bush is what you call a “Chickenhawk.” & Deserter. What’s really disgusting about the man is how he can throw our soldiers lives away like it is no skin off his back. How he has lied to the American people about Saddam’s WMD...and how he has blundered his way through this meaningless war in Iraq. Here’s the story.. http://www.awolbush.com/

There's no doubt that the redneck lost touch with reality ever since he stepped into office. It's bad enough he's spending far more money on the iraq war than on domestic issues such as Katrina! Indeed the withdrawing of allied troops should be an indication for him to do the same, but didn't he mention adding thousands more troops?
Who knows? Let's wait and see.
