What does this mean for us?

To my opinion i think the world is going to end sooner than i thought it would be. i might be wrong and im still in highschool but i always watch the news. Iran are being stupid about the nuclear program and to my opinion they got this "technology" from saddam hussein. North korea is scaring me a whole bunch. testing their nuclear missles almost everyday. its making me worried. my cousin is stationed in south korea and his base is always on alert. man what am i saying. i dont know politics i dunno about anything. im just stating my opinion. all im asking is what do you guys think about Iran and north korea. im lds and it says the three counrties will fight with power and i think its us iran and north korea. so all im asking is what is your opinion about the "end of the world thing"

now heres the real question
the army that hasnt commited war crime or human rights abuse in its entire history and has fought according to the geneva convention
if there is no army as such then there is no best army in the world smaller armies will do but they must fit the profile of a real army

Do eagles cry?

for all who died, and those who also

cried, at the pain when terror came to

change the whole wide world forever.

But terror, you will never defeat us,

the wide, wide world knows that, if

you dare to harm our land, America,

expect that America will fight back.

For all the people around the world,

no matter where they might live, if

wrong is there, America will come

and always make things right again.

The fools, they thought America,

would fall and not rise again, now

they know, though we may weep,

America will always fight to the end.

The whole world looks to America,

to hold aloft the light, the torch that

guides the way to peace and hope,

the freedom that is every one's right.

Yes, the eagle cried that day for us.

and we shed many bitter, bitter tears,

but evil, you cannot ever defeat us,

America always stands, freedom and right.

America will always win, never ever,

doubt that, our light will always shine,

and like the eagle, we will soar above

Think Of The Soldier

Not everyone can undersatnd

The soldier will die on command

He will fight for our freedom to be,

Even when we disagree

while some lounge around and have a beer

The soldier will fight on, through sheer fear

Even after we forget,

He'll be ready to pour sweat

Though never saying his goodbyes;

The soldier will fight till he dies

While we may never forgive

Think of the soldier, and what he's

Perpared to give.

So bear in mind when you pray,

There's a soldier giving his life away.

i'm a military brat, & a VERY patriotic person who would love to join the armed forces. the only thing that really is holding me back is that that i'm completely deaf in my right ear due to Meningitis when i was younger.
so i keep hearing different things from different people on whether or not i can enlist or not.
& if i can join, what jobs, other than being a desk jockey-paper pusher are available; & what jobs are not, because of my "condition"?

Do you actually believe that the same idiots running around Iraq killing each other and our troops, will hop on a plane and come here and plant IEDs on the streets of New York? And what's stopping someone now (in regards to being in Iraq) from getting backing from Syria and coming here, buying explosives and detonating a bomb there? I realize we finally are better at intercepting cells operating here, but how is it related to Iraq? No Iraqi was involed in 9/11. Do you actually think if we stay in Iraq long enough everyone with hatred for the U.S. will go to Iraq to die and not just skip that country and come here instead. In'nt this underestimating the enemy to say "fight them there instead of here"

I read something that said at the turn of the 20th century 95% of the U.S. population still lived on farms and raised just enough to support themselves.

How were the Romans and other cultures able to assemble such large Army's and be able to support them? How were they able to raise enough food to support such a large group of poeple and supply them this food on the battle fields?
