We've done it before with BDUs, and DCUs. Would be efficient for both cost and production. ACU setup in Marine woodland, and Marine desert colors. Being in the military isn't about being a unique and cool branch of service by having your own uniform. It's about getting the job done by the most effective means. I know the different branches need their specific uniforms for specific duties, no problem. There shouldn't be "blue" ACUs running around dusty Iraq, or the mountains of Afghanistan. I'm in the Army, but I have to hand it to the Marines for their color choice in uniform. Like I said, cheaper for the government aka taxpayers money, and more effective *I think*.

The Fundamentalist Christian Movement Claim that the Chinese army will march against Israel 200 Million of them. So should we not have a pre-emptive strike now.

If you agree with this then isn't G. Bush/Cheney sending U.S. troops to die? They can't see the enemy there so they just stand around or drive around like a bunch of ducks in the pond swimming around until they get shot or blown up.

im not speaking about any country or army in general. My boyfriend is in the army, we were planning to move in together soon. and he's moving out of state for half a year for TRAINING! i would understand if it was a mission - but training! Do you guys think whoever joins the army, gets a strong ego from being in the army and puts their job first before family.

thats what they said today:

" I am solider I am a warrior and a member of a team I serve the people of the -------------- and live the Army values I will always place the mission first. I will never aceept defeat. I will never quit. I will never leave a fallen comrade.
I am disciplined, physically and mentally tough, trained and proficent in my warrior tasks and drills. I always maintain my arms, my equipment, and myself. I am an expert and a professional. I stand ready to deploy, engage and destroy the enemies of -------- in close combat. I am a guardian of freedom"

I am interested in engineering and got top high school grades and is an eagle scout. Problem is that my girlfriend is pregnant, so i cant really afford college at the moment. So im thinking about joining the army to serve my country, get some experience and at the same time make some cash to pay child support. Is that a rational decision? What branch of the army or type of duty do you recommend?

My point is that in the beginning when the invasion of Iraq started the Americans were all for it now and now that they see that this battle is not going to be won they want the troops to withdraw after all the distruction they have caused, so many lives ruined they just want to forget what has happened and let Iraq pick up the shattered pieces that the U.S started. Then they wonder why the Americans are hated so much.

Could it be because they are Christians and have a Republican Redneck disposition?

If you voted for Bush and support his rodeo in Iraq, the blood is on your hands too!!

Signed: a Vietnam combat veteran that was "cannon fodder" of another regime.

I know it works on a 24-hour clock...But when it's 12:00 midnight, would it be 0000 or 2400 hours? I've heard it both ways..
And when you pronounce 0000 do you say "zero-zero-zero-zero hours" or just "Zero hours". And another thing, why do they say "oh six-hundred hours" instead of "zero six hundred hours"...I'm pretty sure it's the number 0 not the letter 'O'.

The Libs have been saying they supported the Troops, but now that they are incontrol they bring in people that turned on our prisoners of war in the last big conflict so their true colors are now seen. Now people do have the right to freedom of speech but if it endangers others don't we have the obligation lock them up

Just research.
Money? Guarantee that you won't go oversees? Be issued pink, bejeweled fatigues? What would it take?
