Wow, sourcing for "The Fundamentalist Christian Movement"?
I do not know who really told you that but that's an extremely misinformed statement there.
There is no reason for China to attack Israel, seriously, China has no history with Israel, not even any interactions. Anyways, at China's current position, China would not want to attack anyone. They are on a economical throne right now, building itself to be a real player on the world stage but still on an extremely fragile stage. It doesn't want to lose the American factories there nor the billions that are poring into China from our purchases of the cheap Chinese labor goods. Make a wrong move with the U.S. (especially attacking an ally of the U.S.) and the U.S. factories and businesses would run the heck out of there to prepare for wartime. Anyways, China has more peaceful plans on its list, it really wants to accend to super power without shedding any blood since it actually can, since the U.S. is boggled down in Iraq while China can appease the other countries in a vast number of regions the U.S. neglicted post-Cold War (South America and Africa).
I think your claim there was made by some really conservative funtamentalist that is afraid of China. Super powers come and go, the world only wishes China would take it's place peacefully with the U.S. (we don't need another brinkmanship).
Also, China is struggling internally with many serious domestic problems, such as corruption and rural and urban hardships. China would never be like the U.S. super power wise, ever, but it can be a super power none the less.

That would be a crazy mistake. And why would we attack them? Sure there's some political rivalry there, but relations between China and the U.S. have improved greatly throughout the years. So why ruin that? Now on what you said about claims from fundamentalists Christians, this is the first time I hear of this. I don't think that China has any interest in attacking anyone.

What, are you joking?. China have now the best diplomatic relations with Israel for all times. The Israeli Prime Minister Olmert had just been on a state visit to China a few months back.

China had been doing well in establishing diplomatic relations with almost every nation in the Middle-East, Africa, and South America. This is to ensure that China had the continuous supply of oil and natural resources to feed its rapidly expanding industries, in exchange for China's economic assistance and infrastucture developments to these nations.

To say it frankly, China had done very well in the diplomatic arena. Unlike the European counties and the U.S., it's the only nation that's not threatened by terrorist attacks and Islamic radicalism.

Good source, another bible crazy group talking crazy stuff. Why would china do such a thing, when they are trying to become a capitalist society and enter the world market? They are only doing what every other nation has done, build its economy, build its army and be a true world player, why would they risk all they have done by attacking israel. Don't listen to the bible hugger types, they know nothing and are the true bringers of hate and war on this planet.

With what? Our military is over-extended in Iraq, the Taliban and al quida are making a resurgence in Afghanistan. We can't confront real threats like China, who is buying American debt thanks to W's spending like my ex with a new credit card. North Korea and Iran are thumbing their noses at us because we couldn't muster forces if we wanted to. If we get W out before he starts a nuclear war we'll be lucky.

I think you should personally do a few months of covert recon in China, on behalf of America. Let us know how it goes, OK?
