Good question. Under certain conditions, the Army may want to "invest" in you by operating, if possible, at their expense. Then again, less serious problems have caused people to be released. I just cannot tell for sure.

Yes, any preexisting medical condition can and probably will get you discharged if it effects your stamina or body. If it is something that developed while you were in, the doctors will determine this, then they will attempt to fix it. If it cannot be fixed to 100% you will receive a medical board and they will discharge you with disability.
One last note, if it preexisting, and you did not tell them of it, the will discharge you medically with a general discharge and you get nothing.

It definitely can. No one would want you on the front lines, at the controls of a tank or in a bomber, if your heart starts to freak out.
