I wouldn't. I would let another do it for me. Here's how:
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:11-16).

I believe that power comes from God alone. That being, that conflict and turmoil in the middle east is, and always has been a feud amougst religions and religious sects.

Religion itself has detroyed the middle east, and has destroyed many great nations and regions in the past. History repeats itself.

Each person says my belief is right, and yours is wrong. My God is real, and yours is pretend. Because my God hates your beliefs, I hate you. So much that I would kill you for your differences.

Go into any church, sinagouge, or mosque and each person understands the message in their scriptures differently than the person beside them. Some would say that the scripture means to cause harm, others to sow love. Those different understandings are what places human against human.

I AM NOT A TERRORIST, BUT, suppose that all the oil in the region was eaten by bacteria or some other coupling force so that a significant source of the worlds oil supply simply was not available, other stabilizing factors would be forced to emerge in the energy theater that would temporarily redirect some Magoo interests away from the present posture of politics and energy production.A new balance of economic power would emerge.

A genie gave Mulder (X-Files) peace on Earth by making everyone vanish. (somewhat the same as nuking the place) The Organians (Star Trek) would make their weapons turn too hot to hold. On the other hand a psychic persuader (like the girl on Heroes that made the cop let her go) could think them out of fighting. So it would depend which power I had.

There are several ways, one way is to sabotage the insurgents, dictators, and other conflict causers there. Tell the UN to get up and actually get them to do something (for once). Tell them that Alexander the Great wants his empire back, Constantine wants his back to (being as they are both of the Hellenistic culture, which was founded by Alex, they would help each other).
