lets be real on this one,now that gates has taken over and bush has said troops are stretched thin and were not winning the war,how long before they begin another draft.young men are still required to register,i know this to be a fact because a few weeks ago there was a pamphlet delivered in my mail adressed to a former occupant stating he was required to register under law and failure to comply was punishable by up to five years in prison and a two hundred fifty thousand dollar fine and thats excatly what it said.looks to me like johnnys off to war again or to jail.

One believes our president is being manipulated by a force he is not aware of. Top generals have told him our troops are stretched to thin, what part of that did our president not understand, to respond he says add more troops? Also everyone knows the war has nothing to do with terroism. We love you president Bush, but bring are troops home. Is this a truth?

By posting other questions I've decided the only way to have a normal, non-rushed wedding is to wait until my fiance's settled at his base. How far in advance should he ask for his leave for the wedding? How long do they take to give you an answer? I know it's 2.5 days per month of leave, does BCT & AIT count towards this? And, finally, is there a certain amount of time you have to wait to take leave?

I was always under the impression that the U S Congress made that declaration, not President Roosevelt.

I don't know what it actually means...

the Army’s active-duty force dropped first to below 600,000 and then below 500,000 before the increases ordered after the Sept. 11 attacks.

This is a hypothetical question.I just want to know how the wold would be like.Assuming that if India became a part of China, India would submit to the Chinese capital rule rather then China becoming a Democracy. However the current Indian parliment would still have power in the parliment of the whole nation along with the Chinese leaders.Meaning that the Indian leaders would be goverment officials or be incharge of affairs in the Indian area.since Hindu majority and Bhudism majorities are somewhat similar and are corralated with each other I don' think there would be any conflict.

In the conduct of the war for 4 years we have had a little over 3,000 KIAs. During WW II we lost an average of over 8,000 KIA per month. How did we wind up with such a crop pacifists as now exists in this country. Seems like the lesson of Neville Chamberlain in England with his proclamatiom of "peace in our time", after he returned with a peace assurance from Adolph Hitler, has been forgotten.
