You pay attention to MSN? MSN and AP is like reading Nazi newpapers on Jewish culture. The writers and editors have their own agenda (AP will hire anybody) and are not to be considered credible sources.
To say the U.S. is not winning is a lie. Even the Iraqi president has said that Iraq is stabalizing. The fighting is limited to an area the size of Los Angeles in a country with the size and population of California. It's like saying the U.S. is losing California when the Bloods and Crips go at it.

I'd rather have that money going to the military and the war effort than some stupid lazy azz sitting on their couch watching Jerry Springer and popping out a kid every 9 months. I don't like people on welfare. But I do love our military! Mr. Bush can spend away for all I care!
