If you are married to someone in the army can you live with them on base? And what kind of benifits are there? Housing.. etc..

My boyfriend is planning on joining the army and he told me that if we get married we can live together on base or even off base... i still find this hard to believe.

I know not all of them do, but I can think of plenty enough. I believe it is an abuse of power. It's like, they have a gun, and they have this need to use it somehow when things are slow. That's not cool in my opinion. They should practice with paper targets or something.

This person's name is Erik but he is not me. He or one of his fellow soldiers shot a small fox for no reason at all. Makes me kinda sad since I love nature.

Haha very silly question, but is there any job in the military that allows people with asthma, I don't care how lame it is or whatever branch. It has been my dream since I was 3 to join the military. I have only not even a mild case of asthma. If I can't join the military, does anyone know if the National Guard or Coast Guard except asthmatics? I'm also wondering if you can go career in the National Guard or Coast Guard? I heard that you can't, you only get called for emergencies. That you need a second job. A little help please?

They've got real leverage over NoKor (over half the food aid and nearly all the oil comes via the Chinese Border) and this nuclear situation directly affects them (NoKor nukes can mean counterpart SoKor, Japanese or even Taiwanese nukes, setting off a new Arms Race that would be bad for them). Yet all they've done so far is support (half-heartedly even, based on their actions the past few days) a bunch of sanctions that are practically useless against a depraved NoKor anyway.

Are they that naive... or are they really supporting (behind the scenes) Kim Jong ill's nuclear program and they are only putting on a farce diplomatic show?

She just loves being in the spotlight. I wonder if she knows her son volunteered for the military. Hello?? We don't have the draft anymore!! Now, i am sorry that her son died. He is a brave american soldier and nothing she does should take away from that. But her actions are deplorable. Maybe that's why her sane husband divorced her.

I mean all anyone has to do is look around, I mean we are in Afghanistan and Iraq and have been for 5 years now, more and more people are dying everyday there and more and more terrorists are being created. Then we have Iran and North Korea threating to use their nuclear weapons to wipe people of the map. Then there is Israel who just fought Hezbollah in Lebanon and both are one wrong move from an all out war worse then the one over the summer. We then have Syria who wants to attack Israel. Also Venezuela has formed a tight knit alliance with Iran and Venezuela has oil supplies it can cut off to the United States. Then there is Japan and South Korea who are threatening North Korea about their nuclear weapons and may use force. Both India and Pakistan have an uneasy relationship and may eventually use force against each other. Then worst of all Russia and China who are world super powers are close to our enemies and supply hem with weapons and such.

Im curious about this question because, it seems everyone is ticked off because we are in Iraq for what they beleive is no cause what so ever. Now would you be for a decent sized troop reduction in Iraq, to go after say North Korea, along with Japan and South Korea. Would you be for it because it is a just cause, which is that North Korea has threatened us with nuclear weapons and have been testing them to use.

I do keep up with current events and I understand (for the most part) what is happening with North Korea, however, I do have one question.

My question is simply this: How worried should we be about American troops stationed in South Korea and Japan in the next year?

Do you think the N. Korean bomb test is actually a conspiracy writen up so America can start using nukes themselves?

I love conspiracy theories. It's as bad as neocon theory.

Quote-
WASHINGTON - North Korea denounced U.N. sanctions over its nuclear test as a declaration of war on Tuesday and the United States and others suspected it might try a second bomb test despite international condemnation. U.S. officials said North Korea had moved equipment into place that may indicate it plans a second nuclear test, but they differed on the timing of another possible blast.

What do people think of this? Is yet another war starting here? The story says, "North Korea denounced U.N. sanctions over its nuclear test as a declaration of war." Is this the start of another war, to be in Korea? With all the stuff that's going on in the world it seems like World War 3 may be coming soon...

That is what the news said that is why American soldiers are in Iran. All of a sudden after thousands of generations of fighting they are all of a sudden going to stop. They gassed 400.000 Kurds. They have killed Millions of Africans, why do they believe in two years they will just stop and be best buddies?
Isn't it more a religious thing?
