You might get out of trouble if you make a plea agreement to join the military.

It depends on the charges that were filed, if they nothing serious then you might still be able to get in. The easiest way to find out would be to call a recruiter, regardless of what people tell you about them, recruiters won't just lie to you. Explain the situation and they will give you the best answer they can even if they have to get help finding out the answer.

no, you may not enlist until all court ordered appeareances AND punishemnts are completed. that means if you are put onprobation for 12 months, you cannot enlist until those 12 months are up. and you cannot ask the judge to throw out or defer any punishment just so you can join the military any longer.

not a good idea. If you have felony charges pending you could end up having to face the charges and being discharged from the service under other than honorable conditions. Best thing to do is talk to your requiter.

yea the military has a way of making things disappear off your record. It happened to my friend...he had been to jail for um possession and well he is now in the military... you just have to find you a good recruiter

actually, you would have to go to court, get a disposition, complete the punishment if there is, and complete probation... THEN, 30 days after probation is completed, you may begin processing to enlist...

that is based off the assumption that you are not disqualified due to the convicions you have received.

They will find out about it - but they may still take you - just talk to a recruiter. Don't try and hide it form them otherwise they probably would not take you.

not until after you have been to court. The ARMY allows you several misdemeanors.
