Quote-
WASHINGTON - North Korea denounced U.N. sanctions over its nuclear test as a declaration of war on Tuesday and the United States and others suspected it might try a second bomb test despite international condemnation. U.S. officials said North Korea had moved equipment into place that may indicate it plans a second nuclear test, but they differed on the timing of another possible blast.
----------

What do people think of this? Is yet another war starting here? The story says, "North Korea denounced U.N. sanctions over its nuclear test as a declaration of war." Is this the start of another war, to be in Korea? With all the stuff that's going on in the world it seems like World War 3 may be coming soon...

I think the world is kind of a mess right now. With the situation in the US and now this. Why can't we just get along?

I agree. It does seem like WWIII is coming soon. I think it will happen eventually. I think the UN should take action before other countries get involved. Something has to be done.

I dont think its the start of WW3. If it is, its in the very early stages. But some how, some way we need to deal with both North Korea and Iran before its way too late. Iran has been stalling and stalling and stalling. And the U.N. is letting them get away with it. They say they want peace. Bull. They are lying to the world just as North Korea did. If this situation is not handled it is a scary future for the world. Especially us.
The question is how do we deal with it? Its a very complicated matter and we cant get enough strong support from other countries on these two countries. A few sanctions are harmless to North Korea and Iran. And its not time for the blame game. Sure if you want you can go back to Clinton, but whats the point? Someone mentioned this country is getting divided. Hes right. Too much political bull. And its both dems and republicans. Enough is enough. Stop the fighting for power and do what is right for this country and the world. I think Bush is doing what is right and is trying to but he is getting too much backlash from critics like liberals. Not enough support.

I don't think all this WW3 stuff is going to happen. North Korea can't do anything with The Bomb. It can attempt to explode them; its first attempt was apparently at least a partial failure. It can try to deliver them by missile, but so far its missiles have been missiles; that is, they miss, or they fail some other way. It's all bark and no bite. Kim Jong IL is like some dog over there barking its head off. What he is going to do is get his country to the point to where no one will deliver anything to him, and his people (and his nuke program) will really suffer then. The most it could come to is that other countries will invade it and force a regime change. Dangerous situation, all right, but probably not WW3.

The worst problem is religion! Without a doubt.
But in reading these answers, no matter what happens it is either a bad move by the democrats or the republicans.
Have you heard the story divide and conquer.
My grandma says the country is getting divided. Before when we had problems we solved them together. Now it is the blame game. Who's fault was that?
Maybe it is the fault of the peoples thinking.

1st the US doesn't have enough troops to invade N. Korea which is what they'd have to do to get their nukes. Plus if the US invaded N. Korea China would come to N. Korea's defense thus starting WW III and nobody wants that to happen. So very unlikely that WW III will start over N. Korea but Iran is totally different story and that could lead to WW III because the US has plenty of troops right next door to Iran which would make it relatively easy to invade it.

in case you have been South Korea, could you % to reunify? think of how perplexing it replaced into for Germany to reunify. The East replaced into very detrimental and under superior, now multiply that by using a ingredient of a minimum of 30. The "great chief" will could desire to die first in any case.

No, it's not another war. It is a chess move by Iran to see how we respond.
