Or do you simply support the war because a Republician is in office? A civil answer, if possible, would be appreciated.

Ok so im in AIT at the moment training to be a 42A. I joined the army national guard, and am thinking about going active. The prob is is I hate my MOS so far. The list of job options was short at the time and i figured it would be the best. I really wanted animal care specialist. Could I change my MOS if I went active? Would I lose my bonus? Honestly though I would rather have a job I liked.

My new bf is in the national guard! He was already in the Army and now he's a sgt. doing the guard thing one weekend a month...he still has 4 1/2 years on his contract...its really hard for me to want to be with him because of his odds of being deployed...What are the chances he will be and for how long is typical? It's just hard starting something with someone when u feel thats inevitable.

Whether you choose to believe it or not, this is a big issue. The democrats believe there are diplomatic ways to solve our national security needs. And they seek fair and reasonable treatment for citizens of America and insurgents.

And republicans are obsessed with taking out all of the 10's of thousands of insurgents, whose numbers grow exponentially, whether it be in a blatanty immoral or moral manner.

So another question is, which party's ideas about the war do you follow more?

Court-martial ordered in Iraq rape-murder case By Kristin Roberts

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Four U.S. soldiers face court martial for the rape and murder of an Iraqi girl and the killing of her family in their home in Mahmudiya, a U.S. military official said on Wednesday.

"Maj. Gen. Thomas Turner has referred charges against four soldiers to trial by general court-martial," the military official told Reuters.

Two of the soldiers could receive the death penalty if convicted, the Army said. One of the two others will likely admit his role and settle the case without litigation, according to his Washington attorney, David Sheldon.

The Mahmudiya case, the fifth involving serious crimes being investigated by the U.S. military in Iraq, has outraged Iraqis and led Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to call for a review of foreign troops' immunity from Iraqi prosecution.

Well... I stumble on a question by somebody saying he wants to get back in the army after getting what he calls a "general discharge" from the USAF, and wondering if he can get a security clearance. So I wonder, why "general" and not just "dishonorable"? and I can tell for sure it wasn't an honorable or health motive discharge. So, what are the non honorable discharge varieties?

I have heard that Teresa Heintz Kerry said unkind things about Pat Tillman. Supposedly there was a CNN news report. Does anyone have anything that can be substantiated? All I found is where there is a website connected to her where people had posted nasty, hateful things about him, but it was pulled. Can anyone offer solid proof that this isn't just a rumor gone wild?

I am currently in the Army National Guard, and have 2 years left on my 6 year contract. My Field Artillery Unit is being reorganized as a signal support unit, to my understanding. My current MOS is Field Artillery Surveyor. I like it because I am out in the field and doing stuff. It will no longer be offered and I must choose a new MOS from the following list:

The MOS choices that I have are as follows:
1) 15Q
2) 14J
3) Intel Analyst (Signal Support) I don't have the code for it.
4) 25U
5) 25B
6) 31B
7) 74D
8) 21U
9) 68W

I wouldn't mind an "in office" or "stationary" MOS as long as it will not bore me. I would prefer a MOS that is lower on the deployability scale. I do not want to be a cook, mechanic, or driver. I am an accountant in my civilian life. I would consider being a medic, but I think they are in high demand. I wonder if being an MP would mean lots of **** details and guard duty. My pay grade is E-3 but E-4 within 6 months. What do you think?
