because only an idiot would support an unjust war like Iraq.

Many reasons. A lot of people don't join due to the war or politics. Many don't join because of the pay. Many don't join due fear of having to work hard. Since the Military has become an "all volunteer" recruiter have had to work harder to fill the ranks. I have never seen a line at a recruiters office. But its not like our numbers are dwendling to a point of hardship for the military. I know that is your hope to put extra pressure on the current administration. But recruiters are still recruiting.

Good Point. It is definitely not like it was during WW2. We were a lot more unified and stronger. That generation was a good generation (my grandfather's Generation). I wish more people joined the effort. I am afraid that the news and other media outlet have so many people believing we are loosing and the war in unjust. That’s because so many people in the media are bush haters.
Another reason is who does the government back. The way everything sounds is the government would rather give the terrorist more rights in prison and less rights to the military to protect themselves.
Its amazing.
Just remember United we stand Divide we fall.

Because recruiters will take a phone number and make an appointment with everyone. This is just common sense, walk into the office there should be a list of people leaving and the dates they are leaving on. That should answer your questions as to where they are.

Becuase even though the American people voted for a war lover, they refuse to fight for him. Those of us who were already in however, have to. By the Way, I was learning to speak Korean when bush deemed N Korea no threat, and was transfered "needs of the Army" to become a medic. Now we have no Korean Linguists in the Army. Go Figure.

Actually my husband recruits for the Army. He does very well at it. And yes, there are still honorable people out there that are willing to fight for our great country. Maybe you should get your facts straight before posting such nonsense. (Most of your stuff is nonsense anyway) How much did your brain hurt thinking of this one?
