I know this guy who went into the Marines and now I don't know where he is or how he is doing.

All you have to due is go on to google and type in military locators. I have listed some links below that would be able to help you. You dont have to have an email address. All you need is thier first name, last name, service (if known), ect. Then you should be able to find them. Good luck

If you have his e-mail address than that should be no problem.
Otherwise, ask his family or other friends for his e-mail address.
Trying to locate a soldier other than that way should not be attempted due to national security issues, i.e. you say you know someone but how does anyone who doesn't know you know you aren't a terrorist trying to take subversive action against a soldier or his family?
That happens all the time; it's called espionage.

Grunt.com has a really good book on locating anyone in the Marines. Go there, and look in the "books" section. There, you can find that book. Good luck!
