Just look at George Bush complaining about the illegal Mexicans in the U.S. China feels the same way, but the Mexicans aren't eating treebark and grass to stay alive. Afganistan has more wealth than North Korea. There would be no real regime change. It would be a massive baby sitting job worse than Iraq (less bombs, but require much more goods, services and money forever since North Korea's economy is weapon, illegal drugs and counterfiet money).

China is too busy doing their own thing. North Korea has beef with America and not them. So, they're going to let America take care of this problem. Besides, the Chinese probably think, or know, that Kim Jung Il is bluffing.
