Man, this rifle shoots really bad.

The accuracy is poorer than the M16 serises, and I honestly wonder if this can hit anything well in real lifetime combat...

And frankly, I really really wonder how in the heck the G36Ks are used in some police departments... it will also hit the hostages...

Why is the G36 has bad accuracy?

Most countries have been quite happy for hundreds of years to run their own affairs. Why does it take bombs and bullets to stamp the Wests authority across the globe?

My hubby is deployed to Qatar for a year he leaves Nov. 06 and won't be back until Nov. 07. I am a grad student and i have an internship but surprisingly I still have a lot of free time after I study and do my hw. I go and workout but I still have plenty of free time. I'm sad and depressed and he hasn't even left the country yet. I just don't know what to do. I don't have any friends here or anyone who understands and I am away from my family I'm all alone in grad school.

I leave for basic training on July 10th and I really want to hurry up and get to basic so that I can get past it, I have been exercising every day and eating healthy I know I can pass basic but the waiting is the only thing that is making me nervous. How do I fix that or how do I make time seem to go by faster?

Want to know how to act? Just ask any Vietnam veteran and they will show you how to act when defeated. Why do I say this? Because defeat is coming to the Iraqi Veterans. And I will just laugh because I told you so.

The U.S. war in Iraq has increased, not decreased, the threat of terrorism, according to a top-level, classified intelligence summary.

Findings of that National Intelligence Estimate on "Trends in Global Terrorism" were first reported over the weekend by The New York Times.

**The intellegence report finds the war in Iraq has fueled a new generation of Islamic radicalism, which has spread around the globe.**

U.S. intelligence chief John Negroponte disputes that characterization of the report, saying published accounts reflect only "a small handful" of the study's conclusions. However, the truth is there for all to see.

This Iraq war will end up like Vietnam and all who served will have served for nothing. Just like Vietnam. If you served you will feel empty and liberals can say "I told you so".

Proposal to Carve Up Iraq Moves Forward
By QASSIM ABDUL-ZAHRA ,

A proposal that could carve Iraq into three autonomous states moved forward Monday after leaders of the country's feuding ethnic and sectarian groups agreed to delay any division until 2008. Also the American troops must leave.

Meanwhile, official observances of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan were punctuated by violence around the country.

The Shiite-sponsored bill to split Iraq into powerful autonomous regions will be debated by the legislature and a vote requiring a simple majority for passage could come by Oct. 5. But, if approved, the law would be implemented in 2008, according to a deal made by the legislature. The first order would be to send the American troops home and return to an Islamic state. It is noted the Iraqi people do not want the American troops in Iraq and they must depart Iraq.

My mates and I were discussing this on the weekend. Is there any good reason why reservists (tri service) aren't allowed to do public guard duty at, say, Buckingham Palace? I'd only want the opportunity to do it once, it would be a great honour for us, our dress uniform looks great, and it would give the household cavalry a break. Anyone with me on this? I'd love to do it - if only once.

It is a used for some thing in stead of letting it be wasted. It is a great tradition and shopuld be left alone. The guards look great so leave them their traditions .

Has the Bush administration "pushed the envelope" beyond what was done previously? Or have the rules of the game changed?

Would you be willing to allow the same tactics as were used in WWII (EXCEPT for the mass detention of civilians)? I would - I'm not ready to declare FDR a war criminal.

What's your view? What facts and/or cites do you have that would educate us?

Thanks.
