Actually, on Guadalcanal in WW2, the marines were so tired, they would shoot jap prisoners just to be able to go get some sleep. But then, the Japs didn't take prisoners during that battle so my Uncles unit didn't, and were so mad at the treatment of the bodies of their friends (like muslims are doing today) they all swore to never take any prisoners evenif surrendering. He proudly stated they never did.

Hmm, during WW2, Finland, at war with the Sovjets took many prisoners. They were housed according to geneva conventions and were offered to work off their "debt to the Finnish people" by working in Farms like an indentured servant- which was a definite improvement to the Sovjet army- after which they were awarded citizenship. Some nationals, like the Estonians and others were offered and oppurtunity to serve in the Finnish army instead of being POWs, and they sometimes accepted.
The fact that we treated our enemies so well demoralized the sovjet army and caused them to surrender to us in order to get better treatment that they were getting. But usually, of course the sovjets were forced to attack by their own officers on the penalty of death.
Of course, since the Sovjets outnumbered the Finns by 10:1 there came a point where it became really hard to accept prisoners, and I don't claim that the Finnish army asked first for surrender before shooting.

Fact 1. Terrorists are not associated with any military oriented group therefore the Geneva conventions do not apply.
Fact 2. Political correctness and liberalism are cancers, and must be eliminated from our society in order to win any war.
Fact 3. Profiling is a must.
Fact 4. We are at war, therefore All US citizens, especially our media members, members of our judicial branches, and politicians that have been and are continuing to undermine our soldiers, and the war effort, must be charged with sedition and in some cases treason.

Prisoners should be treated under the rules of the Geneva Convention wherein POWs or inmates are not abused and interrogated for information except the name and unit.

It's just baby stuff today compared to WWII.
We have some little air-head liberal twats that worry about the treatment of terrorist prisoners.
They don't care about terrorists be-heading Americans.

I don't think he has pushed the envelope, I think people nowadays aren't about blind faith and obedience to their governments like they used to be, people ask questions now. but you can't lock people up on a glorified hunch. "they might, so we have to." makes sense, but doesn't always work out too well
