Want to know how to act? Just ask any Vietnam veteran and they will show you how to act when defeated. Why do I say this? Because defeat is coming to the Iraqi Veterans. And I will just laugh because I told you so.

For a guy who served in the marines, you make a great propaganda server for the Muslims. Where di you get the idea that we're going to loose the war in Iraq. The war was won a long time ago. Remember a war is fought between two organized uniformed armies. Whatever you want to call what's going on over there now, it's not a war.
Besides, anyone who says that he can predict the future, isn't worth listening to, I'm sure you have no reliable crystal ball.
You can laugh at American veterans if that's the knid of an ah-sole that you are. I'm a veteran and darn proud of it. Why don't you go back, find Bin Laden, and be his flunky. He needs someone to rake the left-overs out of his greasy beard.

We will never lose the war in Iraq any more than we lost the war in Vietnam. They will just pull out and call it a victory. Remember the Vietnam withdrawal. We said that the South Vietnamese could handle it fine and then it was their fault when the NVA took the country. Not a loss by the US. No way No how. They will do the same thing this time. Come home and declare a win.

Do me a big favor and don't try to speak for "any Vietnam veteran" because you weren't chosen as their speaker.
It sounds to me like you were defeated and you can't stop crying like a biitch about it.
Have Mommy wipe your tears and change your diaper and everything will be ok. Leave the war to the experts and support them or shut your pie hole.

Well the war in Iraq is not exactly a "success" by any standards unless you are one are in the arms trade or a private security/torture squad when you are making a fortune. Ironically the more incompetent the arms trade and private security services are the more money they are able to wrangle over the situation in Iraq.

Unfortunately, it is the soldiers on the ground that receive the most damage - physically, mentally and economically and have the most difficulty readjusting. I think, regardless of whether you agree with the war, the people who have been through this deserve a bit of respect and compassion.

I think we will be there for a long time.
Now that we hosed everything up.
Can't hold enlisted and lower ranking officers responsible for situation.
Where did we get WMD info from?
Wanted for bank fraud in Jordon. Wouldn't trust him to run the cash register at 7-11...Chalabi.
The people we want to run Iraq are the people that "cut and ran" from Iraq years ago and lived good lives in Paris, London, and New York.
Considered by many in those parts to be effete apostates.
Who will spend their terms in a building with 20 foot thick walls.
Unable to leave the compound for fear of their lives.
While the tribal militias, the insurgents the U.S troops, and the Iraqi troops (who decide to show up) run hither and thither from market bombing to market bombing.
Somebody opened up a can of worms but it wasn't the enlisted personnel or lower ranked officers.

And when you see occasional interview with soldier and soldier makes comments like.
We're gonna get the job done.....gotta put the wife and kids and civilian job in the back of my mind until MISSION ACCOMPLISHED...even if it takes 25 years.
He army public affairs prop.
Bet the real troops ain't talking like that off camera.

and
to quote line from your post
"defeat is coming to the Iraqi Veterans."
It'll feel like it to them when they have to fight for disability benefits from the underfunded Veterans Administration.
And they stand by busy intersections with cardboard sign.
And people in cars with the $3.50 made in PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA "support our troops" bumper sticker comment ...."can't the cops do anything about those BUMS?"

Cause all it takes is a Hollywood (who boinking whom)scandel to make people forget everything.

Looks like you're getting desperate my misguided friend. Just remember that if Iraq is lost, you may have to live under the Sharia laws

We won't. Look at it from a strategic standpoint. At some point, America will get pissed and curb-stomp Iraq with the largest and best-equipped millitary in the Western world. The end.
