I have an "associate" in my life whom me and few other friends knows that he lies alot. Well a conversation of ours got me scratching my head: He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan in the early 90's. Met a Japanese girl there and she became pregnant with his daughter. Well his daughter live here with him now (he has custody) and I asked him, When did she get her citizenship"? He told me she was born an American because her mom gave birth to her at the military hospital over there. Now, I'll admit, I know very little when it comes to the military, but I could have sworn that only the wives can give birth in a military hospital. Am I wrong? How is that so? I have one friend who's a military wife and she says I'm right. I just want a second more indepth answer. Thanks in Advance.

Lets see football players movie stars, and other people in entertainment get payed ridicioulous amounts of money while soldiers who fight for their country and some lose their lives and most make not even 30,000 a year I really don't think that makes to much sense at all. It's kind of upsetting. what do you think?

I suffered a compound fractor in my left arm. Both bones popped out of my arm, and I needed reconstructive surgury, the doctors put plates in my arm, I also suffered some nerve damage, but they fixed that too. This acident occured when I was 9, and I am now 21, WIll I still qualify for the army or the police force?

Im am about to E.A.S out of the Marine Corps in about 6 months, and im pretty worried about finding a job. Being a squad leader in the infantry was and probably will stay the proudest accomplishment of my life, but unfortunetly i kind of screwed myself by picking an M.O.S that really doesnt have a trade that i can use in civilian life. Does anyone out there have any suggestions on what i should do, or any job offers lol?

My son is 19 and, while we have saved money to send him to college, he doesn't want to go. He is thinking about joining the Air Force so that he can get college credits WHILE learning a skill and working. He is under the impression that he will come out with at least an AA degree, a marketable skill, savings, and that he will be able to completely avoid being placed in harms' way. These are all his strict criteria for joining. I'm worried that he will join, that these critieria will not be met, and that he will not be a great fit for that lifestyle. How can he talk to others who have recent experience?

while im about 2 make big step .im going to take the asvab again no joke. fail it last time cause i was payattenion to my surrounding other than the test right in front of me but oh while and at least i have a head up when i take it again. question is ,is military life the life i should life for 4 or 5 year of my life.i know it will help me get my act together and find the freedom i need to join the real world. the recruitor i ve been taking kinda think im a joke cause of the fact i disappear and show up out of know where. there for min gone the next what should i do so they can take me seriously this time..
