Yep I loved being an AF brat...Matter fact followed in the footsteps myself and now me and my father are in the AF....looking at it that way I guess I am still an AF brat...haha
It kinda suck moving from school to school but after a while you get used to it. The only time I really had a problem with it was when I went to 3 diffrent schools for my senior year and I never got to go to prom and all that but other then that it was a pretty normal life.

I was a Military Brat twice over - My mother was Navy and my Father was Army. Usually the next thing out of someones mouth is "did they ever see each other"? Yes they did, all the time in fact. My father is a food inspect by training and the Navy doesn't have any, so my mother could get order and he could always match them. Because they were never apart and he was never deployed anywhere, I loved being a brat. Moving around a lot (Europe and Asia) made me a much more out going person as well as making me closer to my family. For the first few weeks anywhere, I only knew them so they had to be my friends. I think it is great experience.

I was an Air Force 'brat' and loved it. Was able to see Florida, Georgia, England, Virginia, & New Hampshire...what a life!
It was hard leaving friends, but then you got really good at making friends! It also helped me to teach my kids that there are all types in the world and to be very accepting of other cultures.

I enjoyed it for the most part. But the moving part killed me. Learned to make friends quick tho. I went to 4 different schools in the 2nd grade. That sucked, but it forces you to evolve. I'm now in the military myself. In the army.
