Both bones popped out of my arm, and I needed reconstructive surgury, the doctors put plates in my arm, I also suffered some nerve damage, but they fixed that too. This acident occured when I was 9, and I am now 21, WIll I still qualify for the army or the police force?

Mr fix it, andy, and toy end all have it right. The best thing you can do is contact a recruiter from your desired service and ask about the medical exam. make sure you don't go in signing stuff right away, get all the info you can, you dont want to waste your time. If you plan on joining the military this widely varies depending on what job you want. i doubt you would get anything airborne, but that depends on the extent of the damage suffered.

When you get processed for the military, they give you an exam. Part of that is disclosing any medical issues you may have. If the doctor assessing you feels you're OK for military duty, then you will be accepted.

You will have to go to the recruiter who'll most likely sign you up. Part of that whole process is getting the medical exam. Good luck.

From what i've got witnessed no longer many people make it right into a helpful regulation enforcement profession while they're a militia MP. I actual have whether met many helpful people who've been interior the Air rigidity. in case you want to truly pursue a profession in regulation enforcement, as quickly as your militia profession is over, then i'd propose incredibly finding into the Air rigidity protection Forces.

Quite possibly. You have to ask; each branch of service and each police force has its own requirements.

But these days the Army, or some parts of it, take anyone with a relatively clean record, who knows how to read and write and breathe.

Maybe...There was a cop who was beaten on a traffic stop and she needed plates in her head. 3 months later she was back in the force.

As long as you do not have any long term disability, it should not be a problem. I would recommend talking to a recruiter.
