No, the warmongers will gloat over their success at creating their own enemy. This gives them even more reason to raid the US Treasury, create oppressive deficits, and pay Halliburton and the other top ten military contractors in order to attatck the threat.
When they are brazen enough to TELL you what they've done to you, it's not an admission of guilt with a desire to correct the situation. It is a prelude to you accepting this as status quo so that you won't be surprised that they did the same in helping Israel antagonize Hezbollah into becoming a greater threat (read: war candidate) and that they will continue by goading Iran to the point of no return to make sure that they get their opportunity there to do more of the same.
We must conserve energy, find alternative sources, and go for complete regime change. Anything less than these three will result in the complete loss of our civilization. The American Experiment is over; the neocons are playing for keeps.
Educate yourself. Understand the nature and size of the threat against us. Re-read '1984.' Understand that your way of life is being dismantled. Until the power base in this country (the average, middle class white males/females) get alarmed and begin to do something about it, we will continue to slide into hell.

I'm not sure that I get the gist of your question, but let me try.
It is my belief that Iraq will turn on the US in a New York minute, once they are no longer dependent on the US for its military contribution.
Let's face it, the greatest number of people in Iraq are Shiite or Sunni. The Shiite really take their orders form Iran, whereas the Sunni tribes are held close by the Baathists. In either case, these tribes are anti-American, and will turn on the US, once it has served its purpose.
It's kind of like feeding the crocodile, once you stop feeding it, you become its next meal.
