I was wanting to know what others ideas would be for the best ways to protect yourself in the event someone broke into your house. This would exclude burglar alarms. I want to know what exactly your plan of action would be if someone actually did break in with the intent of robbing you and killing you if necessary.

The reason I'm asking this question is that people have plans for what they would do if their house caught on fire or if there is a tornado or an earthquake but I never hear people talk that much about what to do if someone breaks in.

This incident happened in Illinois and wasn't sure if private property laws prohibit an action. If this is true could you also give the law and its reference number to use for court.

I know a guy who gave a false birthdate and social security number when he got arrested and fingerprinted. He got away with it. ....or at least he thinks he did for now. Does anyone know of a Federal law that covers this? Assuming the fingerprints were put into the FBI database, I would think there has to be some federal statute prohibitting it. ....or a state law in Arkansas. This guy is trouble and needs to be in jail. Any advice? Thanks.

In the movie Se7en, with Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt....in the end when Brad Pitt, a cop, kills Kevin Spacey, a hand-cuffed suspect.....because he had reason to believe the perp had killed his pregnant wife............ what would be the charge? Would he spend time in jail? Would he (Pitt) get off? I know it's a movie, but hypothetically, what would be the charge?

I have a "heavy" personal and embarrassing question.

Over a year ago, I experienced a major loss and became clinically depressed. I also became suicidal. One night/morning I decided to follow through with my ideation and drove to a near bridge. Someone must have called 911 since police and ambulance arrived shortly thereafter.

I was taken to a hospital Emergency ward. Still upset, I snuck out of the hospital and tried to get my car back from the towing company holding it. But being notified of my "escape", they called the police who then arrested me under the Mental Health Act and I was returned to the hospital for 36hrs.

Since the incident, I've received help and I am no longer suicidal or depressed. In fact, I'm terribly embarrassed about the entire incident. Hence, my questions...

Who sees the info regarding my attempt?
-If I ever go to the hospital again, can all hospital staff read about it?
-If I'm pulled over for speeding, call all police see it?

Thank you in advance

i got pulled over last week for doing 38 in a 35 but i see cops riding down the road doing well over 80 in a 35 during heavy traddic but no one is around to police the police... cops are given the right to speed in emergency situations but i see them racing their cruisers down the road at night when they think no one is looking i sit on my front porch at night and sometimes i see the same 2 cops racing down the same part of the road more than once in the same night (its obvious there racing, i sit on my porch everynight) and its always at the same time 3:51 AM on the dot, they coming flying down the highway doing no less that 120mph and i know there is no emergency that happens every night without fail exactly at 3:51am every flippin day.... i honestly don't car how fast they drive i just don't understand how they can give me tickets for drivng 3 MPH over the limit but they can come down the same patch of road in front of my house every (week) night without fail doing well over 100...

My car was recently broken into and they robbed me blind. Stole everything I had in my car. They probably got away with about 800.00 worth.

I am thankful they didnt take the entire car.

I am scared though b.c I am a tiny girl. What if someone tries to rob me when I am in the car?

What can I keep in my car to protect myself? I have heard that a ball bat is illegal. I plan on getting pepper spray. What about knives?

I feel like I need protection now. I live in an upscale neighborhood however, it is on the border or a crime ridden downtown so we get a lot of trash wandering thru.

I am so scared.

I don't hate women or anything, but they can't be cop. I mean, they are not tough as men, they cry easily, they're afraid of breaking a nail, come on. They use excessive force, and handle a gun very dangerously, because they feel 'threaten'.What do you guys think?

Someone told me that if one was caught with a knife in their vehicle (not a pocket knife) then they would be arrested and it could be a felony. The reason the person would be carrying it in their car would simply be for protection sake. Does anyone know the validity of this statement?

From there are two government-led official investigations on the JFK assasination, the committes concluded that the assasination is solely carried out by Lee Harvey Oswald.

I assume most of you reading this may have watched at least once either Discovery Channel or History Channel shows of investigating the JFK assasination.

I, an enthusiastic investigator of the JFK assasination, have contacted incredible amount of information on this affiar.

I will not go into detail on this. But there is one mystery still unsolved- even by today.

Let's exclude all the other issues-motives, plans, etc. Let's just focus on the assassination itself.

If Oswald was the only gunner at the scene, shooting the president at the back, then why does the famous Zapruder film show the president being shot at the front of the head?

Seeing is believing. Here is the film.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ef5fa0e9d7

Same video, but different website: http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=kennedy%20assassination&search=Search&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&spell=1

Clearly, the last fatal head shot was fired from in front of the president, not at the back of the president, where Oswald was known to be shooting.

If you closely observe the film of the moment when the president gets shot in the head, the bullet came from the front of the president. It is proven by

1. The film clearly shows the president is getting shot in the front forehead, foolproof. You can clearly see the wound at the president's front head, as the bullet strikes.

2. the president's head flips back as the force applied to the target.

3. Also, at the moment of the impact to the target (JFK's head), the blood splash tells us the bullet entered from the front of the president's head. Throughout the entire shooting time, Oswald was at the BACK of the president.

(by the way, just before the headshot, the president was shot through his throat. After a few second, Jackie asks him, "Are you okay?")

Therefore, there must be a second gun man.

Anyone who has shot a gun before, should be able to understand what I am talking about.

I am not saying Oswald is innocent. I am saying there is a possiblity that Oswals was one of the shooters at the scene. (Or, Oswald may have not shot him at all.) Because Oswals was also assasinated before going into a further interrogation, this affair remains mystery.

But one thing for sure; I am confident there was another gunman.

If you would like to leave any opinions, you are welcomed. But no insult, profanity and attacking the other users, please!

I did 30 days in jail for being an accessory to breaking into a house and on probation now.
Friday I was arrested for shoplifting and and also they charged me with invading arrest becuse they had to run after me.
My Parole Officer called and told me to come see him tomorrow - He did not say anything over the phone about the arrest - Has he already found out?
I was thinking of asking him to double my probation and give me community service but don't send me to jail. We do talk alot and I get along with him.
What will he decide?

I saw a Tv show last night and this Indian guy was getting really mouthy to the policeman and the policeman just took it.

In countries like Spain the guy would likely have got a thick lip at the least for his mouth.
