I am terrified of cops and I don't know why. I haven't done anything illegal or anything like that. I'm 16, should I be afraid of cops?

I watch Cops on Saturday nights on Fox, and some of the things they do seem unprofessional to me, they also seem a little more 'casual' then the idea of a police officer should be. Like when a guy steals a car but then decides to surrender and gets out and assumes the surrendering position, all the cops tackle and fight him like the guy is still running or resisting, when he is surrendering! Anyways, I was thinking that cops shouod have more of a military discipline training and maintenence. Perhaps the National Guard should police the streets, wouldn't that be a good idea, maybe not Military Police but the president can invent a new MOS relating to a police officer?

He currently lives in North Carolina and all the state site says is a 2nd degree sex offense in Los Angeles County (which I'm assuming is CA) w/ 2 yrs prison (so I assume it was serious). Going to the L.A. courthouse is not an option, as I am on the opposite coast.
I would like to get some details because the NC site doesn't say if it was an attack on a man, woman, child...
Any help is greatly appreciated so I know who to warn in my family. TIA

am on supervised probation for five yrs and paying$300.00 a month towards restitution,I know a fact I can never finish paying $200,000 in my life time since am asked to pay $300.00 month. Can I ever be put on unsupervised probation.I only report once every three months.

Let's face it. The war on drugs is a waste of money and we know that prohibition doesn't work. People will always use mind-altering substances no matter what. Why does the government continue to spend billions and billions on a war that will never be won and that creates more problems such as inner city crime, gang violence, turf wars, etc?

Apolice officer investigating an incident od domestic violence has discovered both the husbband and the wife displaying and complaining of similar injuries. Each accuses the other of assault. No witnesses are present to verify or refute either account of the events. Joe is the defendant named on a valid non-contact,protective order issued in the state of Iowa. This particular order was issued by a stste Distric Associate ,or Magistrate Court. It prohibits Joe from having any form of contact with Sally,the petitioner of the order and his estrange wife. Joe and Sally are stopped for a traffic violation in Sturgis South Dakota while riding in a vehicle owned by Sally.The patrol officer discovers a photocopy of the protective order mixed in with the vehicle's registration documents. When questioned out of the presence of Joe,Sally states that the order is still valid but that he is in her company at her invitation. what should the officer do .

is it a felony or a misdemeanor when someone steals a prescription pad writes themself a prescription with a phony doctors name?

and BTW how does a person even get caught doing that? i mean it sounds like it would be hard to get caught. after all its just giving the pharmacist the note and they fill the bottle right?

and no i am not planning on doing this. its just a question out of curiosity

i know in some country if the police catch the escape prisoner he dosn"t punish again of course he have to finish his serving time.

I do not mean someone who has killed innocent people, or hurt those who are defenseless.

I mean people convicted of a felony that have since changed their lives around, and are productive members of society?

Or do you feel once you have thrown the book at someone for a crime they are nothing, and hate them forever?

when the court or da finds inconsistencies in the victim story ex: she says while she was raped she had her pants on and the defendant had his pants on the whole time. ex2: she says no one was there but later says someone was there ex3:tells police she was grabbed and pulled her pants down and raped her and later changed it at preliminary hearing. do the da know or they just waiting to c if the accused will make a plea deal. what happens if i dont accept the plea deal can they drop the case. i have a witness who was there.they still have a rape charge against me i admitted to anything 100% innocent.

Does anybody know the rules & regulation about registered sex offenders living in Oklahoma? I know of somebody that is a registered offender ( a repeat offender) and now he is married and has a child with this woman. Is he allowed to even be in the same house with the child, knowing that he is a registered offender?

Me and my best friend don’t like our friends boyfriend. We called him using sprint IP (for hearing impared) ( I know-childish…) but we called him twice and just said “hi-its mom, what are you doing?” no more than that. Now he’s suspecting its us and says if we don’t own up to it, he’s pressing charges. Can he really press charges over 2 calls that really didn’t threaten him…?

i have a 15 year old fire safe. it was broken into with a crowbar. i dont know if it was left open. i found the crowbar next to the safe. queston is, can they do this under 2 minutes. Also there is no visible damage seen anywhere around the safe. any ideas?

me and my girl went to get grocieries from walmart and after we were going to walgreens on the way to walgreens cop pulled us over says he pulled us over for a out tail light and asked for both of are id's my girlfriends license was suspended but we didn't know about it bc she forgot to pay the 60$ left on her ticket. I ended up going to jail bc of a warrent and are car got towed. when we went to pick it up the next day nothing was wrong with the tail light everything worked fine. is this a legal reason to pull someone over. it was at about 1-2 o'clock in the morning and noone else was on the road can he pull us over for being the only ones? i need a proffessional opinion

im just being hypocrite right now cuz i do the same, but why hasnt the police or parents looked online to see if there children are doing drugs or partying....cuz u see lots of really underage kids with beers in there hands...even videos of them drunk.....im just curious why hasnt it been looked upon.....serious answers please....im not for or against just need answers
