Police investigators and smart parents review MySpace for information.

If an underage drinker has pictures of him/her drinking, it is self incriminating. But, I have never seen any underage drinker who has posted pictures of himself/herself drinking on MySpace be prosecuted for any crime.

I am not saying it hasn't happened; I just haven't seen it.

The police are not going to waste their time attempting to prosecute someone for underage drinking based upon a photograph. It would be a very difficult case to show, based on the fact that you can not prove possession on consumption of anything. All you can show is that for that moment the person had a beer or something in their hands, if you have video maybe. But then again police departments are not going to crack down on this, it's a summary citation, you don't really even get arrested for underage drinking. They have other things to do.

When I was the parent of an underage child, I knew what my kids were doing, who they were with, where they were.

Parents should do the same with internet.

I have a 16 year old grandson...he can use the computer anytime....it's in the living room...where everything he does is visible to his mother.

Police are too busy looking for the bad guys to sit around all day reading the blabber of a bunch of idiot teenagers on myspace.
