i know in some country if the police catch the escape prisoner he dosn"t punish again of course he have to finish his serving time.

I don't know about others, but Germany is one country which would not punish somebody who tries and/or succeeds to escape from lawful custody.

None that I know of, and I doubt VERY much that there are any.

Escape is a whole new criminal charge everywhere I can think of.

Athene.... do you have a link to that? I find it VERY doubtful that it's true that German law is so far out of line with the rest of Europe. (And unfortunately googling German prison escape law brings up too many POW movie links to be useful )

although in Germany if you smart off to the cops, they beat the crap outta you...

So...if they do that just for having a loud mouth, what do you think they'll do if you run?
