Apolice officer investigating an incident od domestic violence has discovered both the husbband and the wife displaying and complaining of similar injuries. Each accuses the other of assault. No witnesses are present to verify or refute either account of the events. According to the guidelines of the Model Code on Domestic and Family Violence, the officer should do what to both or each other.

I agree with the above answers. However, I'm not sure if you are asking us to give you the answer to a test or asking us to do your homework for you. Either way it is cheating. If you want to ask a school related question it would be best if you did this research on your own and if you can't find all the answers by all means ask again, but in the proper category ... “Education & Reference > Homework Help”. Just remember that the magic word is Homework ‘HELP', not Homework ‘Completion'. They won't do your homework for you, but they are quite willing to help. Arrest both for domestic violence. One can be charged and released on a promise to appear if a child is in the home that needs to be cared for.

No clue what the Model Code is, but I'll take awhack at doingf your homework.

I would, and have on many occassions, arrest them both and take their kids to a shelter.
