Law Enforcement & Police - September 2007

When you take a drug test and people use ready clean or some other clean out kit... can police or probation officers test for that? Just curious worried about some friends. thanks =]

My niece has been self-reporting sexual abuse since she was 2.5 years old. The initial report was never properly investigated because it was involved in my sister's divorce. (My sister left after my niece reported) She was accused of filing false allegations despite the fact that DCS never conducted a thorough investigation. My niece has been seen by many professionals who subsequently reported the abuse but it still was not investigated because she no longer lived in the county where it occured. My niece's reports to the professionals were ignored because she was too young to self-report, apparently you have to be at least 5. Well, this Friday, my niece (now 5.5) told her school counselor that her dad was abusing her. The counselor reported it to the agency where the abuse occured but they did not seem concerned... My sister cannot afford an attorney and legal aid won't help unless the abuse is "substantiated by DCS" which would require them to do an investigation, any ideas?

I'm 16 and I've been pulled over twice. They always say that I was driving "questionably" late at night. I'll be coming home from a party ( Not drunk or under the influence of anything ;D ) and I get pulled over and have to do the whole sobriety test. They police are never mean to me, so I don't really have a BIG problem about it.. I just get home late and it's hard to explain why I got pulled over when I was driving the speed limit and "10&2" the entire way. Can they pull you over just.. because? Haha I'm pretty goofy sometimes so maybe they think I'm tipsy or something?

i had been robbed and called they aressted a guy and blew me off and when i said i would just call another cop they gave me every tickect they could think of but i beat all the charges and the FBI is investigating.but my back was a serious permant injury that canot be fixed and will have to be on heavy pain meds for life.

I was driving to school today, mind this when answering my question I am underage - 18. I got pulled over by a state trooper and was issued two tickets, one for passing and another one for speeding. The speeding ticket was 200 dollars and the passing zone one was 100. Now what will this mean for my license? Will I get it taken away. .. The police officer also said If I pleaded not guilty on the speeding ticket I could go to court and get the ticket reduced to 100 or so(hopefully) This is my first violation and I have no record either. Will my license be suspended? The police said he didn't think it would be, or the DMV would just review the case. Does anyone know?

My gf got arrested by met police while she was shopping, then black guys approached her to ask for lighter then bunch of them trying to touch her bag if she has lighter suddenly police came and arrested my gf and those bunch of guys, they gave my gf a figerprint test and even took her picture, dna and drug test! is this legal? my gf is in shock, she's so afraid to go out already is there anything i could as her bf to protect her? is it legal in the UK system to gather her information without any proof? they just said she was in the drug scene while those guys eventually are drug dealers, police didnt treated her badly but she was in a shock, she couldnt even make a phone call?! what kind of system is this? and is it even legal? please advise thank you

I have some neighbors well I am assuming they are my neigbors I am not exactly sure who it is but they keep making false claims about me. First they called animal control and said I was mistreating my dogs well animal control came out when I was not home and my roomate showed them they dogs which they said were fine. So then a few months went by and they called the county and told them there was a bad smell coming from the house so I called the county and told them it was a false report they came out and not only did they check the yard but every room in the house! So I asked her while she was there what I can do to prevent this and she said well there is really nothing you can do if there is a report filed they have to come and check it out. But I feel like my privacy and everything else has been so violated...please help!

After I was clocked at the top of the hill, he wasn't visible until 1/4 of a mile up the next hill coming toward me. Before the top of the 2nd hill where he eventually pulled over, there is a large curve and trees but he still said he clocked me at 71 a 1/4 mile around the curve and trees, down the hill and at the top of the next one. I KNEW I had my cruise set at 58, so there is NO WAY he could have clocked me at 71...especially from where he was coming. After explaining this, he offered me to see the radar but I believed him, just not that it was me b/c like I said...my cruise wasn't even set close to that. I want to fight this cecause of the distance factor and the fact I know I wasn't going 71 because of my cruise setting. Should I fight this and what is the best way to do so? Please help and I look forward to your opinions.

There are no court orders and no visitation guidelines written out on paper. The Mother has allowed the father to keep the child on saturdays, however this saturday the father will not give the child back to the mother and says that the mother will have to get a court order to get the child back. Is there a LA law stating that the mother has primary custody of the child until demmed otherwise by a court or some higher authority, and if so, what options does the mother have in getting her son back?

I have never done anything illegal in my life. After I sent a couple of e-mails to the White House, the FBI has been following me ever since then. They often visit my room when I go to school taking some of my items which seem to be suspicious for them, bringing those items back after they tested them. They even implanted their informant as my roommate who also has the duplicate keys to my room. Privacy is just a joke for me. LoL.

She is way behind on her probation fees. In our State(MO) its 30 dollars a month starting last april so she has not payed them for over a year. SHe is worried sick about this and does'nt know what to do! Will she go to jail? She works 50 hours a week and never misses but is just in a very difficult financial rut right now. If she were to get a loan and pay all the fees and the 1400 she owes would it all go away? Any information would help a lot.
